Last Fight(6)

Azalea can't believe it, he is a very strong and experienced man. Azalea has done hundreds of missions before, every last time he left barely scratched. Sure he did sustain a few scratches as he is human, and most weren't that bad. This has been the most injured he has ever been, but this is completely different.

All of the sudden these loser nobodies managed to injure him. Its not going to kill him, but the fact was that it's his fault this happened. If he never got distracted he would have noticed, and dodged that bullet. He got cocky, and that blinded him, he was overly confident on his current work.

Of course it's not absolutely terrible to be confident in one's own abilities. He just imagined himself as the future hero that saved future civilians. Azalea thought that he would stop future problems from happening, and he would be liked.

Azalea then smiles as he believes he proved himself useful. That he can be trusted, and be known as someone that helps good people. Azalea begins to walk slowly as he knows how bad his injuries can get if he moves recklessly.

Azalea then thinks about Robert, and when he first heard about his death. He was confused, he was shocked, and he was glad that an evil man like him died. Azalea then continues walking through the building, he looks outside, and spots a few SDA members.

They should of probably gotten rid of those pests called Zoryem. This is a semi successful mission, but there are still things left to do. They still need to capture that leader of one of those gangs, and interrogate him. Azalea hopes Petunia is alright, and that he is already returning with that man.

Azalea has to also check up on Rose, and see if he is also alright. After himself Rose had the most dangerous job, he had no protection, and he was in constant danger. Azalea then steps outside the building after not hearing any gunfire in a while.

Azalea looks around, and its empty, this is a good sign that they won. Azalea returns inside the building, and sits down to either rest for a bit or have the SDA arrive as he believes no one is left alive now. Azalea then thinks about Robert, and if he was to encounter him before he died.

Azalea doesn't know if he could of killed him even if they fought. Robert is such a different person, and Azalea wanted him to be something more. He believed that he was definitely stronger than him which is why he tried to push him into being more civilized.

Of course that never happened, Robert was a beast that never should of lived. He resisted all rehabilitations, and he lacked everything that made a man great. Azale then thinks about himself and his usability. Was he even reliable? Did the government really need him?

Robert is way out of his league, and he's only second because no one else was strong. Their gap is noticeable, and it's an insult to him who did try his hardest. He surely wanted justice and he truly tried his best, but that wasn't enough. The man who wanted pain was just better and more useful.

Azalea is getting much older by the day even though he is the second youngest. Robert is even younger than him, but his life isn't too bad. Azalea sighs .

He shouldn't feel bad as he had his whole life ahead of him. He is going to protect the civilians, he is going to die for their cause. "I'll just try my darn hardest until I surpass that jerk." Azalea says as he keeps his eyes closed as he is tired, he might sleep for a bit.

After just a few more minutes, the area is finally completely silent. It's so silent that a bunch of people could mistaken it as if it was still empty. The buildings are cracked, and very damaged, it looks more abandoned.

Daniel and Amir check outside the window, and it's lifeless. There are many dead bodies around, but they made it out alive. "Wow I'm so glad that I'm finally free." Amir says, and Daniel smiles, they both sit down to rest.

"I'm glad we meet Ashly as she gave us the opportunity to pull this off." Amir says as he and Daniel take their time.

"You're right Amir, if it wasn't for them then the Zoryem wouldn't have joined either. They would of make this much worse for us as the Lurker would of won." Daniel says as he check the gun which barley has any bullets left.

"Well Omar himself wouldn't have joined us either as well. He wouldn't have joined us if we didn't have a solid plan, and reliable people under us." Amir says and Daniel gets up for a bit to check outside.

Daniel spots a Zoryem walking around, and they both lock eyes. The Zoryem smiles as Daniel waves him over, the Zoryem begins to walk to Daniel.

"I'm so darn glad that you two survived even if we did have major losses. Counting me we have about five others left alive, to me that's enough." The Zoryen looks inside, and sees that they are all alive.

"Listen before you say anything, we all feel great about it. We commit such a great act of crime that we will definitely be remembered in history. Yeah sure we will definitely get targeted which we don't mind at all."

"We planned something extra, and the SDA is nearing us, you should leave soon. Besides our leader will definitely be recognized finally after all these years." The Zoryem says with a smile.

Daniel looks at him with a face of disbelief. "Listne you are all weirdos, but we need your help more than ever. So for now I'll ignore your antics, but don't think I'll like it much." Daniel says as he notices how relaxed, and injured the Zoryem looked.

"Well alright then, we are leaving, and there are a few horses left. These are from both sides, but I doubt many of them aren't injured. Look you all can catch up with us, and we'll allow you to live with us only if you follow our rules." The Zoryem says as he begins to leave them.

"Well we don't have an option so let's accept their invitation." Amir says but then he turns around as they are going to check up on Lucas and Ashly. "Daniel we ourselfs don't have much injuries so we are lucky."

They both begin to walk to the other room, and they see the both of them on the corner of the room. Lucas himself doesn't look that terrible, and he is smiling a bit. Ashly opens her eyes, and by the lack of sounds she imagines that it is all over.

"It's all over you two, there won't be anyone left to hurt you Ashly. Now you can both leave, and both get some medical attention." Amir says.

"I can't believe I passed out like that, I could of done so much more. If I was still awake I would of ended this fight sooner." Ashly says as they both stand up, and Ashly is holding on to Lucas's shoulder.

Lucas looks at Amir and Daniel. "I'm thankful that you both helped us get rid of Ashly's main problem." Lucas says as he helps Ashly walk outside, they are both slow, but they aren't struggling.

"No one is left alive, and I don't know where Omar went." Amir says and Daniel is about to tell him about Omar, but he appears.

"I'm alive, and I sure do wish I wasn't." Omar says as he pops out from the corner, he is clutching his shoulder. "That bastard didn't kill me, he wanted me to bleed to death, sucks for him as it's over, and we can leave with those lunatics."

"Is it me or does this feel so familiar? It's like I've seen this before." Ashly turns to Lucas. "Look I'm glad we are alive, but I'm dying by the second. I don't want to risk anything so we really have to go now." Ashly says and Lucas nods, they both begin walking away to find a horse to use.

"Lucas I'm glad that you didn't die on me, I'm proud that you did what you had to do." Ashly says to Lucas, but Amir walks right passed them within seconds. This feels a bit humiliating as they are both slow, but they have other things to worry about.

Amir approaches the big sum of money that had spilled all over the ground. Amir grabs some coins. "It seems that the Zoryem left them behind so it's up to claim." Amir says as he grabs more, and smiles at the huge sum of money.

"I can't believe that we have this much money that hasn't been claimed. With this we can live an easy life for months, we can build a stable life by then." Amir says as he begins to count the money.

Daniel them walks up to the money as well. "Hey Lucas, do you guys need money? We'll give you part of it as it's not ours." Daniel asks as he begins to try to patch up the holes.

Lucas then looks at Ashly. "Yeah sure we can have a bit, but only for medical expenses. Is there any spare bags for us as we don't really have any?" Lucas asks, but from what he can see there aren't really any.

"Lucas this is great and all, but let's go now my stomach feels like hell. Let's go get a horse now man, I don't want to wait any longer." Ahsly says, and Amir points them to a horse that can be seen near them.

"We are leaving with the Zoryem as it's our best chance for survival. Look after you guys get medical attention, would you both like to join us?" Amir asked them.

Lucas and Ashly begin to walk to the horse. "Sorry but we can't as we don't really have a great relationship with them. Honestly I believe that they are still mad at Ashly which is something that we don't want to face." Lucas says as they finally grab the horse. "Look we might not meet each other for a while, but I'll be great to reunite in the future."

"Amir and Daniel, thanks for everything, but we really have to go now." Ashly says, and Lucas helps Ahsly get on the horse as he gets on as well. "Lucas go now as we can be emotional later." They begin to leave, and Ashly holds onto Lucas.

"It's weird that I haven't been controlling the horse in a while. To think about it, ever since I ran away you always controlled the horse." Ashly says.

"That doesn't matter anymore Ashly, once we get medical treatment. I would want you to smile as you no longer have to run away from your problems. Besides I can now focus on finding my parents after so long." Lucas says with a bright smile.

Ashly sighs. "Lucas just give up on them already, they abandoned you. You have to accept the fact that they most likely forgot about you. Maybe they do for some reasonss still remember you, but does that mean they still love you?" Ashly asks Lucas, and he stays silent.

"As far as I know, for many years they didn't attempt to search for you. Maybe they think that you died already which is something sad to think about." Ashly says as she continues to talk.

"Ashly I understand what you're saying, and if I'm completely honest. I've also thought of those scenarios sometimes, and it kills me. It's scary to think that they never wanted me, and they hoped that I died back there when they left me."

"After everything I'm glad that I managed to help you when I was being stupid. Sometimes I make such terrible mistakes that affect me in the worst possible ways." Lucas says and then he sighs. "But in the end of they day I'm just glad I have you with me. I'm thankful, but I'm ashamed with what we went through together." He says as he looks forwards.

"Ashly please I want you to understand that they are still my parents. One thing that's hard for me to digest is that the love of a parent might not always exist." Lucas says and he can tell that Ashly might not be listening to him. "Ashly please don't be mad at my parents even if we meet them. I don't know why, but I just can't bring myself to hate them as they are my parents."
