Chapter 1

Clayton is my pure love who rescued me when I was being bullied.

Later, I supported him as he built his company from nothing, and his net worth grew along with it.

I followed his wishes and became a stay-at-home wife.

But he cheated on me outside our marriage, keeping his own pure love on the side.

I didn't make a fuss, because while he was out rolling in the sheets with his pure love,

His best friend was in bed asking me when he could have an official status with me.

...

"Sis, please don't be angry. It's because my health is so poor. Big brother Clayton is just worried about me."

I handed the phone to Clayton and accepted the anniversary gift he had prepared - a strand of South Sea pearl necklace.

"Keep your little mistress in check."

On the phone was a message from Clayton's pure love, Melody. Scrolling up revealed the subtle taunts she sent me after each time Clayton visited her.

"I'm sorry, sis. Big brother Clayton only stayed overnight to take care of me. Please don't be mad at him."

"Big brother Clayton and I are just like siblings. Don't overthink it, sis."

Hearing me refer to her as his pure love, Clayton's brow furrowed tightly."Vivienne, don't be like that. You know Melody's all alone now, and she's not well."

I tossed a signed divorce agreement in front of him.

"No problem. Go be with her. Sign the divorce papers, and you can be with her forever!"

Clayton turned his head, exasperated.

"Vivienne, stop being unreasonable!"

"Melody just wants me to spend more time with her. Why can't you understand? After her parents passed away, I'm all she has left!"

"I promise, once Melody's feeling better, I'll spend more time with you, okay?"

I raised my hand and slapped Clayton across the face, stunning him.

"Is 'taking care' of her supposed to mean taking your dear sister to bed? And then she 'accidentally' sends me your bedroom photos?"

"Clayton, neither of us is stupid. Let's both sign and keep our dignity."

Clayton finally showed some guilt but still stubbornly defended himself.

"That was just an accident. Melody didn't mean to. You stay home and behave yourself."

With that, he left.

I picked up my phone and switched to a different WeChat account. There was a message from half an hour ago.

It was a picture. On a plush bed, a broad-shouldered, slim-waisted, strikingly handsome man lay bare-chested, his pants unbuttoned at the front.

He was deliberately striking a seductive pose, waiting for me.
