Alvin's Situation

As soon as the carriage pulled by the undead bulls came to a halt, Elara swung the door open and walked out with Alvin floating behind her. Without looking back, she started to make her way towards the house.

Vanessa walked out last and looked at Elara entering the house in the distance with a helpless look on her face. She released the bulls from their constraints and hurriedly stored the carriage in one of the two pouches hanging around her belt.

Just as she turned around to leave, she noticed that the bulls had not run away as they would usually do; instead, they were silently looking in the direction of their house on the hill with their heads down.

Although she found the situation unique, at this moment, Vanessa cared more about Alvin's state. She turned around and vanished from the spot before reappearing in front of the house.
