As soon as they returned, Val immediately took Elyna back to her room. In that room, they sat next to each other. Val was still reluctant to unlink their hands even in the room. His emotions are still not completely stable. Not to mention, he was still more or less affected by Tritan's power.
Val took a deep breath. When he looked at Elyna, he knew that he had worried his partner.
"I heard someone destroyed your locker this morning. Your seatmate says so. I will find the culprit and teach them a lesson. I promise," said Val.
Elyna held his hand, then shook her head slightly.
"Even if you know who did it, don't do anything to them, Val. What they did isn't a big deal. Err... I'll be satisfied if they promise not to repeat the mistake," asked Elyna. For the comfort of the people around her, Elyna would prefer that today's events not happen again, although she was not so affected by the sudden mess on her gym clothes.
"You with your simple mind."
Val commented but decided not to pursue the matter in front of Elyna. Val preferred to rest his head on Elyna's neck. That sudden gesture made Elyna's body stiffen. Val's warm breath tickled her neck, making her move restlessly but not distancing the closeness between them.
"Stay away from that man named Tritan," Val whispered. Elyna was silent. It was the second time Val had confirmed the same thing to her.
"He's dangerous. A noble vampire, our natural enemy," continued Val. There was a slight feeling of pain when Elyna heard Val say that. Her head felt too heavy to nod. Elyna didn't understand what happened to her. Twice, she heard Val ask her to stay away from Tritan, and twice she felt something was wrong with her body.
Her body, especially her heart, felt uncomfortable when she imagined that she would have to stay away from Tritan. Elyna had heard stories about the hostility between the vampire and werewolf races. But Tritan doesn't seem evil. Not to mention, there is a feeling of longing that Elyna can't explain every time she sees Tritan.
Val let out a heavy breath when he saw the hesitation on Elyna's face. His inner cried sadly. Just as he can unite with Elyna through fate, sooner or later, Elyna's destiny with Tritan will be connected too.
Val laid down both of their bodies. He hugged Elyna's body tightly and then kissed her forehead.
"Forget it. I'm tired. Can you accompany me to sleep just this once?"
Elyna was surprised when Val asked her to accompany him to sleep. Elyna hurriedly nodded. Even though Val tried to hide his emotions well, Elyna continued to feel that her alpha was sad about something.
"I'm sorry..."
Elyna was afraid it was her fault. Because of that, she apologized while hugging Val's body.
"It's not your fault. I just...want to be with you more."
In return, Val kissed the top of her head gently. Val had no intention of letting her go, even if his eyes were starting to get heavy because he couldn't control his emotions.
"Stay with me... Elyna."
For Val, Elyna is only his. She doesn't belong to anyone else, let alone Tritan, who claims to be his Luna's partner.
Val won't hand Elyna over to anyone, ever.

"Alpha..."
Hera looked hesitantly. Honestly, she didn't want to ask what was on his mind when Val looked unstable. However, she was tickled to ask. When they gathered to meet, Hera finally chose to fulfill the curiosity that continued to haunt her.
"Why... did the vampire call Luna his mate? Isn't... the Goddess not going to give us a mate who already has a destiny with someone else?" Hera asked fearfully. Her body flinched in surprise when a strong wind hit the glass of their building until it cracked. That power was one of the effects of Val's emotional outburst, which was not yet fully stable.
"She is indeed only mine," Val hissed coldly. Everyone swallowed nervously. They all gathered in the living room as they worried about Val's suddenly unstable condition.
"But Val, her origin explains why our pack mark disappeared from her body over time. Her body rejected our power because of the blood of the royal vampire in her body. Even if she was in this pack, she would never be able to be part of the pack as a whole."
Zen kept talking even though Val's power hit his body. Val -or rather, the wolf in Val's body- should know that her mate's case was complicated. Each pack member usually had a mark on their body that allowed them to connect to each other pack member. But Elyna didn't have it, even if Val had given a sacred vow that acknowledged her as his mate.
"I will continue to mark her from now on. Even if her vampire blood makes the mark continue to disappear over time, I will still mark her. I'll keep doing it until that rotten vampire stops bothering my Luna," Val said firmly.
"But that action will cause war to break out again, Alpha. You know that vampires will not accept if their future king's mate is claimed by someone else just like that," Siren commented. Val looked at her sharply, something he had not done for a long time since he had always been able to control his emotions.
"Then, do you ask me to give in? Do you want to submit to those vampires? Like they said? Is that it?" Val scolded sharply. Siren lowered her head again. They didn't know how to face Val at a time like this. That was the first time for them.
One person bravely patted Val's back. Duke smiled slightly. "Calm yourself, Alpha. Right now, your inner self is out of control, so you can't think clearly. It's not our intention to force you to separate from Luna. We just need a plan, and that can only be done when your head is cool," the man coaxed slowly. Val looked at him for a long time before turning to look at Hakan.
"I have decided that Elyna will be under everyone's strict supervision starting now. But don't let Elyna realize that. She won't like it if she finds out we are restricting all her movements," Val concluded. He left the room in a hurry after that, leaving the people who could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Zen patted Hakan's shoulder in concern. "You should think about how to refuse Luna's request later. She will come to you to ask you to teach her," Zen sighed with concern.
"But why can't she train? Wouldn't it be better if Luna could defend herself?"
Zen shook his head dejectedly. "That can't be done. Because her power is..."
Zen recalled the results of his research again, then let out a long sigh.
"Blood control that will erode her own life."

"Err..."
Elyna fiddled with her fingers restlessly while occasionally peeking at Val, who was holding her hand even in the car.
"Did something happen?" she asked softly. Since morning, everyone seemed to be behaving strangely in front of Elyna. Minus Eir and Zen, who had disappeared who knows where, everyone seemed to be careful when she did anything. Even when talking, they were no longer as free as before. That made her wonder if it had something to do with her meeting with Tritan.
The problem was, it wasn't just them who were behaving strangely. Val was just as strange. Not only did Val ask them to sleep together starting yesterday, but he also seldom left Elyna except for important matters. Even when Elyna was about to leave for the academy, Vla insisted on going with her. A driver was driving them now. Meanwhile, Val was sitting in the back seat and didn't want to let go of their linked hands as if he didn't want to let go of her even for a moment.
Val stared deeply into Elyna's eyes. "Nothing," he replied briefly before taking something from the box that had been in the car from the start.
A thin rectangular object was given to Elyna. The girl looked confused, a face that always comforted him.
"This thing is a cell phone. Please accept it."
Elyna stretched out her hands in confused thoughts. Suddenly, the object rang and made Elyna scared, but Val quickly calmed her down again.
"Press the green image," Val instructed. Elyna immediately did so, and Val's hand guided Elyna to put the cell phone to Elyna's ear.
[Did you hear me?]
Elyna's mouth opened when she heard Val's other voice from the cell phone. Her eyes sparkled. Elyna's fear of the new object she was holding was gone.
[We can talk long distance with this thing.]
"Like telepathy?" Elyna asked enthusiastically. As a half-werewolf, she cannot telepathically like other werewolves. But with the object in her hand...
Elyna remembered that the object was the same as Emma had shown her before. How great, she could even connect with humans using that object.
Val turned off the phone connection. She then guided Elyna to open the home screen on her cellphone. She entered the contact menu and then pointed to the numbers there.
"I heard that you have memorized the names of the pack members. Therefore, I have entered numbers that you can trust on your cellphone."
Elyna nodded enthusiastically. She could see the names Hera, Jake, and even Eir there.
"If you want to contact them, you can press the image and-"
Val's cell phone rang.
"We will be connected immediately."
Elyna smiled happily. Reflexively, she rushed into Val's arms. Elyna buried her face in the crook of Val's neck to smell the pleasant scent of the man's body.
"Thank you, Val! I really like it!" said Elyna sincerely. Val hugged the girl back. His hand gently rubbed Elyna's back while smiling faintly.
"Anything for you, Elyna," he replied sincerely.
