"Grandpa, I'm going now," Triqi said while hugging her grandfather tightly. Georgio smiled. He kissed Triqi's forehead gently and then fixed her messy clothes. A vampire noble must look elegant wherever they are. That was Georgio's motto.

"Have fun. You can come back anytime you want." Georgio glanced at Valan a little when he said that. He saw Valan smiling widely, a smile that always managed to make Georgio nervous.

The child was more suited to being flat-faced or silent than starting to smile like that.

Triqi didn't know the change. She grabbed Valan's hand, making the older one look at her, then gave a cute face that made Valan fall silent instantly.

"Let's go. I want to go out with you today."

Triqi's voice was small but full of sulking tones. Valan chuckled. He held Triqi's hand even tighter and then smiled at Georgio, who was still watching them.
