SERAFELLE: CHAPTER 31

He sat in his chambers as the newly employed servants washed every nook and cranny of castle.

Not a single evidence or trace of the events that occured was to be found, even the servants from footman to cook were already disposed off.

Their bodies packed in sacks and shipped off to sea, all this he inspected himself as he waited for the arrival of Aidar.

It was a hectic work but one minor incompetent mistake could ruin his entire lives work.

His art, that's why only he could do it but himself, no one would satisfy him with their work. "Sir Abel Aidar has returned."

Ara smiled for the first time in weeks "Well, It's about time, Regar let's go check out our catch."

They walked to the throne hall to see the king, queen, a young lady and a younger man all tied up. Ara couldn't contain his glee "You're a bit sloppy." he commented.

Aidar fell on his knees then bowed "I deserve death your highness I let the princesses escape."

Fully concentrating he inspected them using his shoes to lightly shove them.

When they didn't react he stooped beside them checking for breath he placed his fingers close to the noses "At least they're alive, I said capture them not kill them."

Aidar swallowed then tapped Aidar's shoulder "You have done well, keep Regasus in the prison, along with Garth."

Glad, Aidar grinned "I'm glad your pleased your highness. What of the queen and princess?"

Stepping over them Ara sat on a small table and stool set for him by Regar "prepare to bury Weria, leave serafelle here."

He paled his skin white as clouds "Your highness the queen is still alive, I missed her vitals."

Ara looked at him with contempt picking up some nuts the maids had served "Interesting. Should I bury you with her then, since you seem concerned."

A nervous forced chuckle chocked Aidar "I'll get digging your highness."

He departed carrying out his order, serafelle was still sound asleep when Aidar returned "Your highness you should be weary of his woman, she has the ability to drive one mad."

Ara frowned staring at her while breaking the nuts, she looked helpless on his red carpet, with blood stains on her yellow dress "Regar?"

"Your highness?" he bowed.

Handing him a cup of water which he humbly took he awaited instruction "Wake her."

The cold water knocked the sleep right out of Serafelle, on her guard she reached for her sword but couldn't find it.

She turned and set her eyes on something scarier than a demon.

A magnificent young man with sun for hair, snow for skin, the grass and sea for eyes and hibiscus for lips sat before her.

His complexion made him look weak and frail, she saw beyond the darkness of his robes the power and youth of the body that lay within.

The face was so innocent you'd think he were a handsome, harmless, innocent man but his eyes betrayed him, she had never seen so many ghosts behind a man.

Blood soaked his hand like a water fall pooling beneath his feet, she was sure that no one else could see what she saw if not they wouldn't get so close to such a dangerous creature that even devil's would fear.

she whispered in fear

"What monstrousity are you? "
