ERIS: CHAPTER 74

Eris felt it.

The burning in her body, the unbearable heat surging through her veins, a raging inferno threatening to consume her from the inside. But she refused to succumb to it.

Instead, she focused, drawing the fire inward, shaping it with sheer willpower. The pain was excruciating, searing her from the inside out, yet she endured. And then-

The flames burst forth from her skin in a violent explosion, setting her entire body ablaze.

The beast shrieked, its deafening wail piercing the sky, as its feathers ignited. Scorched, it recoiled in agony, its colossal form writhing as flames licked its flesh.

With a final, agonized screech, the monster flung her away, sending her crashing through the air like a broken doll.

Her body collided against the unyielding bark of an ancient tree, the impact so forceful that the very earth trembled beneath her.
