Chapter 56: The tide of war

The divine plane was no longer still.

The Second War of the Pantheons had begun.

Poseidon's battle with Pontus, the First Sea, raged across the abyss.

Hades had erased the last remnants of Olympian resistance.

Ra had unleashed the full might of the Egyptian Pantheon.

And now—

Zeus was ready to act.

The world of gods would tremble once more.

Poseidon

The waters of True Atlantis had never been so violent.

Poseidon stood in the heart of his domain, trident glowing with divine energy, as Pontus surged forward.

The Primordial's form was not physical, not bound by flesh or shape.

He was the abyss itself.

Poseidon had faced titans. He had faced gods.

But this?

This was something greater.

Pontus' voice echoed through the ocean.

"You think yourself the master of the seas, nephew?"

The tides turned against Poseidon.

True Atlantis, which had obeyed his every command, hesitated.

Because Pontus was not an intruder.

He was the original king.

Poseidon's grip on his trident tightened.

"This ocean is mine now."

Pontus laughed.

And the waters erupted.

The Abyssal War

The Order of Monsters charged.

Leviathans the size of planets.

Serpents older than the stars.

Creatures born from Poseidon's divine will.

They rushed into battle—

And were swallowed whole.

Pontus did not fight.

He consumed.

The ocean bent to his will, the abyss becoming his weapon.

Poseidon growled.

He would not fall here.

His power had grown beyond the Olympians.

And now, he would prove it.

The ocean was his.

And soon, Pontus would realize that.

Hades

The End was silent.

The last of the Olympian rebels had been erased.

Now, only the future remained.

Thanatos stood before Hades, his scythe gleaming.

"Egypt has declared war."

Hades did not blink.

"I know."

Demeter stood beside him, her presence unchanged, but not unnoticed.

She was no longer just a goddess of the harvest.

She was Queen of the End.

And now, the war was hers as well.

"What are your orders?" Thanatos asked.

Hades rose from his throne.

"Let them come."

Because in the End—

All things faded.

Ra

The golden halls of the Duat shone with divine energy.

The Egyptian gods had gathered.

Osiris, the Lord of the Dead.

Set, the God of Chaos.

Thoth, the Keeper of Knowledge.

And at the head of them all—

Ra, the Sun Incarnate.

He had ruled for millennia.

But now, his rule was threatened.

Hades had reforged the End.

Poseidon had claimed the oceans.

Zeus had become the Sky itself.

There was no place left for the gods who refused to evolve.

Osiris spoke first.

"If Hades rules death, then what is my domain?"

Ra's eyes burned like the core of a star.

"Then we take it from him."

Set grinned, his twin blades gleaming.

"Let's begin."

And the Egyptian Pantheon marched to war.

Zeus

Zeus sat upon his throne, watching.

Poseidon battled for his dominion.

Hades had erased his last enemies.

Ra was moving his forces.

Zeus had been patient.

He had let the pieces fall into place.

And now, it was time to make his next move.

He turned to Athena.

"It is time."

Her golden eyes flickered.

"Time for what?"

Zeus smiled.

"To remind them why the Sky is eternal."

And with a single motion—

The storm of Olympus raged once more.

Foreshadowing: The Gods Collide

The Second War of the Pantheons had begun.

Poseidon's battle for True Atlantis raged on.

Hades prepared for war against Egypt.

And Zeus—

Zeus was finally ready to act.

Because soon—

The gods would fall.

And only the strongest would remain.
