Not everyone has to be killed

Ikky could see in the distance what was a small village. But the important thing was that where there was a village there would be inhabitants.

The boy, thinking that those inhabitants could have some kind of advantage in the aquatic environment, levitated above the surface of the lake. It was the second time he had tried that magical ability and it was a fabulous sensation.

On a rocky outcrop he could now see how a creature halfway between a fishman or a merman was watching him from a distance. Without giving his possible enemy time to react, he opened a dimensional rift and appeared behind him.

The spear went through him from one side to the other although he did not die from a simple blow, but Ikky had prevented that being from raising the alarm, his flooded lungs were preventing him from screaming.
