Ikky cast "bullet time" just to protect himself in case the skeletons were faster than expected, but no, with half of them paralyzed by earth magic, he could run through the entire remaining horde, avoiding their bone hands and without much worry.

Only a few of them carried weapons, so he had time to rehearse what was the best strategy to destroy them.

He discovered, or rather, verified, that they did not die crushed or cut in half, as happened in most games; in the end, they ended up recomposing and uniting the broken bones. There was a magic that sustained them. It was a small core, barely a spark, floating in the ribcage.
