Although Ikky wasn't wearing his armor, his arrival at the combat zone still caused a bit of a stir. Armed with a shield, a basic spear, and a sword at his belt, the problem was his basic player clothing. His shirt was torn in several places, leaving a large hole. Part of his torso was exposed; a pant leg was missing because he had used it to make bandages.

Some of the female audience was very careful not to support him, encourage him, or admire him, but the covetous glances of many of the female players indicated too much about what they thought of that scantily clad body.

Among the men, most were hurling insults, the most heard being cheater, or engaging in bets on how quickly they would lose the fight.
