After a couple of days of waiting, Ikky's body was still inert, with no signs of consciousness or improvement. The concern was evident, but the players needed to move and make their way in this new world.

Wholgan appeared in the village on the third day. According to his version of things, he went out with 20 other players to try to form a pincer movement and break the siege. They were surrounded, and he was wounded and left for dead by the monsters. After several days of recovery, he managed to return to the village.

It was a big lie, but the minds of the players were as weak as anyone else's, and for many, it was more comfortable to believe that truth than to think that he was simply a coward, and that they should punish him.
