*glances around awkwardly* Ahem! Author's shameless review here! I'm giving this book five stars because... well, it's my book. But wait, there's more! First off, we have a modern earth that's torn by war between witches and werewolves. Both races are sworn enemies and our FL happens to be a witch and the ML an Alpha king. A recipe for disaster, right? Or, some steamy enemies-to-lovers kind of romance... hehe. Secondly, the male lead is a dick at the beginning of the book. But he's not a dick just because. He just has a messed up backstory that you'll come to discover as you read the book. Oh, and there are quite a few side characters that I'm certain you'll love(or hate, *wink* *wink*) There are smutty scenes sprinkled around this book like sprinkles on a cake but the smut doesn't really start until the eighteenth chapter. (That's technically a spoiler, but oh well) Our female lead is originally a powerless Witch who's been bullied all her life but trust me, she wouldn't be a damsel in distress. She's scared of Kaelos at first but soon puts him in his place over and over again. (something he finds intriguing) Finally, there are a LOT of trigger warnings on this. Not really world-ending stuff, but still... if you can't stomach smut, suicide, gore, more smut, attempted rape, SA, mental health depictions, etc... then I'm sorry, but this wouldn't be your cup of tea. Of course, lest I forget, there's a big bad who'll be revealed later on and also several messed up people, including a psychopathic villain who grows a weird obsession for the FL. Anyway, let me not bore you further. Please, just give my book a chance and I'm sure you'll be in for a thrilling ride that you won't regret. <3 Happy reading! (*crosses fingers*)
Speak of a story that has me hooked on the spot and I'll pick this one any day. This is a beautiful story. I want to read more. I want to see Odessa shine. I love her spirit. Not everyone can pull this off but dear author, you have proven you are a master with words.
Dont usually read werewolf stories but this one pretty unique. love d mix between wolfies and witches. Looking forward to more☺️☺️

woah! okay hold on.. first i thought the MC was sweet like a damsel in distress ...but then after chp 2 it's struck me.. she ain't no Snow white🤣😭 she's whole another thing than soft spoken princess i know. anyway , the story been captivating and intriguing! check it out it's, 4 star rate from me!
I won’t lie—I was blushing. And I’m not exactly new to this kind of thing, but wow, this was steamy. The action kicks off fast, and to my surprise, it doesn’t drag the story down at all. If anything, it adds a delicious tension that keeps the pace sharp. You can definitely tell the author wrote this for her own pleasure…
