Chapter 40: Third-Year Students

The sun rose and set, and time quietly passed by.

Three months had slipped away without notice, but those who cherished time gained something from it.

In the Lingyun Library, Su Hao flipped to the last page of the book titled [The Mysteries of the Elite Warriors's Body], which only had one sentence written on it:

"All the secrets are contained within our bodies. One day, we will truly understand ourselves."

Su Hao closed the book and returned it to its place.

Glancing over at the girl he had scared to tears three months ago, he noticed that she was now quietly reading a book, her face bathed in the soft sunlight streaming through the window. She looked at peace.

Su Hao enjoyed the environment of the Lingyun Library, so he came here every afternoon to read.

Every day, he would see that same girl. She seemed extremely delicate, and through her friends, Su Hao had learned that her name was Mei.

What amused Su Hao was that despite being scared to tears by him on the first day, she still had the courage to return to the library the next day, even though he was still there. He couldn't tell if this girl was brave or timid.

One thing was clear though, Mei loved books, or in other words, she loved knowledge. Just this alone made Su Hao have a good impression of her.

This good impression had nothing to do with romantic feelings or how she looked; it stemmed from Su Hao's admiration for scholars and his respect for those who sought to pass on and pursued knowledge.

People like her might be part of what made the world so wonderful.

It was foreseeable that, many years from now, this timid little girl, Mei, would become a respected scholar in this world.

Su Hao returned to his seat and closed his eyes, letting his consciousness enter his mental space, where he opened the list of his body's current state.

Over the past six months, the most significant change had been in his height. Not only had he broken through the 1.5-meter mark, but he had grown an additional 3 cm. A truly joyous occasion. If this growth rate continued, Su Hao believed that in a few years, he'd reach 1.8 meters and become a tall, handsome man with wealth. Hopefully.

With his rapid height growth, Su Hao's body strength had long surpassed the limits of an normal person, reaching a level even he couldn't have imagined.

This was all thanks to his [Control Techniques].

With the help of the [Muscle Strengthening] and [Bone Strengthening] Techniques, Su Hao's body had become as tough as leather, with bones as strong as refined steel. If someone tried to stab him with a knife, the most likely outcome would be the knife getting stuck in his muscles, unable to penetrate further.

This powerful body gave Su Hao an unparalleled sense of security.

He was confident that he would survive into adulthood in this lifetime.

As long as he didn't act recklessly, with his current strength, no one could easily kill him. As for the illness that took him in his previous life, he was not worried. [Cosmic Light] constantly monitored his health, and if there was ever anything unusual, it would be detected early. However, with his current body, even deadly diseases would avoid him.

His physical strength had led to a surge in his [Blood Qi], increasing from the original 31 points to 40 points, marking a significant improvement in his raw power.

As for the skills listed below, Su Hao had categorized them for easier reference and future updates.

Among all these skills, Su Hao's favorite was the «Sky Fist», a technique that could send people flying without causing severe harm.

It was a god-tier technique for street fights. Over the past six months of brawling, Su Hao had perfected this «Sky Fist» to a near-invincible level.

….

While Su Hao was contently reviewing his data, Fatty suddenly rushed into the library, looking frantic. He found Su Hao and said, "Xiangwu! Something happened to Qingqing!"

"What?" Su Hao was startled and immediately stood up, running outside. "Lead the way and explain along the way."

Fatty, who had lost some weight and now sported a bruised face, looked like he had been beaten up. He led Su Hao, running a step ahead, and explained, "Qingqing got entangled with a third-year student. That student is currently blocking her dorm."

Su Hao asked, "Where's Qingqing now?"

Fatty replied, "Qingqing should be fine for now, but if we wait any longer, who knows what will happen."

Su Hao frowned and asked, "Aren't third-year students supposed to be stationed at an Outpost in the Wild? What are they doing at the academy? Explain the situation from the beginning."

Fatty gave Su Hao a strange look and said, "The third-year students returned several days ago. You didn't know?"

Su Hao replied, "Get to the point."

Fatty awkwardly smiled and said, "Well, three days ago, Qingqing accidentally knocked over a third-year student's tray in the cafeteria, spilling their food all over the place. No matter how much Qingqing apologized, that student wouldn't let it go. He said he would forgive her if she agreed to be his "plaything"."

"Qingqing refused him on the spot. The situation dragged on for quite a while before they finally left. We thought it was over, but today they showed up again and directly went to Qingqing's dorm, trapping her inside. They said they wouldn't leave until she agreed. Can you believe that?"

Pointing to his bruised face, Fatty added, "I just tried to intervene and got this."

Hearing this, Su Hao roughly understood the situation.

It was obvious that the whole tray incident was staged. How could a Warrior allow a little girl to get close enough to knock over their food?

A surge of anger rose from Su Hao's heart, impossible to suppress.

It's one thing for growing boys to admire girls, but using such childish and infuriating tactics was another matter entirely.

Everyone has the right to pursue love, but only if both parties are willing. Using underhanded means or superior strength to force someone into a relationship was intolerable.

Soon, Su Hao and Fatty arrived at He Qingqing's dormitory. The place was already crowded with people, most of whom were just there for the show. Some were angry but lacked the strength to act on their sense of justice, so they stood by, anxiously watching.

Several boys stood scattered in front of the dorm entrance, effectively blocking the door.

A boy with narrow eyes and spiky hair, dressed fashionably, shouted toward the dormitory, "Qingqing, just agree to it. You only need to be my girlfriend for a month."

"Hahaha∼!" The boys around him laughed wildly. In the academy, they were third-year students, the strongest. No one could control them, and no one dared to.

Inside the dorm, there was no response from He Qingqing. The spiky-haired boy called again, "Qingqing, I don't want to force you. Just say yes."

At that moment, Fatty and Su Hao pushed through the crowd.

Fatty immediately pointed to the spiky-haired boy and shouted, "Xiangwu, it's him!"

'Xiangwu? The Violent Sky, Wu Xiangwu?'

Most of the people in the crowd were first- and second-year students. Upon hearing the name Wu Xiangwu, their eyes lit up.

"Hmm?" The spiky-haired boy and his companions turned, puzzled, to look at the two newcomers. He recognized Fatty—he had kicked him earlier—but who was this other guy?

Without a word, Su Hao unleashed his Elite Blood Qi, flooding his entire body, and with a single step, he shot forward like a bullet.

«Shadow Step»

His fist struck the spiky-haired boy's cheekbone.

"Crack∼!"

The sound of bones breaking echoed throughout the crowd. Before the spiky-haired boy could react, he was sent flying, crashing past the crowd and landing unconscious.

It wasn't over yet. The spiky-haired boy's friends soon followed in his footsteps, writhing and howling in pain on the ground.

When everyone had been taken down, Su Hao pointed at the spiky-haired boy and asked Fatty, "Is this the main culprit?"

Fatty nodded. "Yes, that's him."

Su Hao walked over and kicked the boy square in the crotch.

"Crack∼!"

Everyone heard the sound of something breaking and collectively gasped, taking two steps back while instinctively covering their own groins.

To Su Hao, evil deeds were evil deeds, regardless of the perpetrator's age. Whether they were children or adults, wrong was wrong. When dealing with wrongdoers, Su Hao never showed mercy.

The spiky-haired boy returnt conscious by the pain, clutching his mashed crotch and screaming horribly

After retracting his foot, Su Hao said to Fatty, "Fatty, take me to where the third-year students area."

"Huh?" Fatty froze for a moment, then quickly remembered how Su Hao had single-handedly defeated all the second-year students a few months ago. He immediately understood Su Hao's intentions.

Excitedly, Xiaopang said, "Xiangwu, I know where they are! Follow me."

At that moment, a figure rushed out of the dormitory and threw herself into Su Hao's arms. It was He Qingqing.

Su Hao gently patted her back as she trembled in his embrace, her fear still lingering. Tears soon soaked the front of his clothes.

After she had calmed down, Su Hao gently pushed her away and said, "Qingqing, wait here for a bit. I'll be right back."

He Qingqing immediately grabbed his hand. "I'm coming with you!"

Su Hao thought for a moment and then nodded. Turning to Xiaopang, he said, "Lead the way, Fatty."

And so, Fatty led the way, with Su Hao following behind, trailed by a large crowd of onlookers.

Soon, the entire academy was buzzing.

Everyone had heard the latest news: first-year student prodigy Wu Xiangwu was heading to confront the third-year students.

In no time, large groups of students were rushing to the third-year student dormitories to witness the event.
