(Chapter 71:Mira's Pov)
The weight of our world's disunity pressed heavily upon my heart. Gathered with Caelyn, Lorenzo, Vincenzo, and Selene in the dimly lit council chamber, I felt the urgency of our mission intensify.
"We cannot stand idly by as our kin remain scattered and alliances crumble," I asserted, my voice echoing off the ancient stone walls. "We must seek the Elders' counsel and gain their blessing for a journey to reunite with my brothers and forge new alliances."
Caelyn's eyes met mine, her expression a blend of concern and determination. "Mira, the Elders are set in their ways. They may not easily endorse such a perilous quest."
Lorenzo crossed his arms, his brow furrowing. "She's right. They might see this as a fool's errand."
I took a deep breath, steeling myself. "Regardless, we must try. Their support could be pivotal. I will request an audience with them."
