Alpha Alaric

 I never expected to see my brother's face again under such circumstances. The towering gates of Alaric's stronghold loomed in front of us, their iron bars glinting in the dying light of dusk. As we approached, my heart hammered in my chest. Alaric was a king, the eldest of us all, and I had always thought of him as untouchable, someone who stood above me, even as family.

 But now, standing before his dominion, I had no choice but to confront him.

 "Stay close," Lorenzo murmured, his voice low and steady, but there was a tension in his words. We had just crossed the border into Alaric's territory, and I could feel the weight of the place—the oppressive aura that my brother had cultivated over the years. His rule wasn't just over the land, but over the minds of those who lived within it.
