Chapter 2

Talia walked over them to get a heads up of who the girl was. " she can be his sister or friend, I mean come on Talia you shouldn't be jealous." Words filled her head and she decided to ignore them.

After approaching them she started acting weird in front them as she hesitated to speak. " hi, I mean hello…what's popping?" She said in an unnervingly high pitched voice while standing in a weird posture.

Annalisa, " hey, are you okay?… I believe you are Talia Diaz, boss's daughter?…Nice to meet you. I'm Annalisa the current secretary." "Pleasure Annalise and yes I am Talia." Talia said. Talia kept on looking at Annalise and could not shake the feeling that maybe — just maybe Annalise has a crush on Reagan. I mean look at the guy with those angelic eyes and devilish smile.

"Okay Reagan, we will talk later. Let me head back to work well I don't want to have cases on leak reports." Annalise said jockingly.

"Bye." Reagan smirked.

" Hey, back to you, are you okay? I mean… are you …" Reagan said shaking his head.

"What?" Talia mumbled. "High on drugs maybe…" Reagan said hysterically while laughing. " no I'm not. I was just thinking…" Talia argued.

"Thinking? Thinking what exactly?" Reagan asked. Talia maintained a gaze with Reagan and asked nervously, " is she your girl? I mean are you guys dating?" " gross No… she's just my friend. We've been hanging out in the office since we joined right about the same time. Why ask that though?" Reagan complained.

"The way she looks at you…the way she talks I mean doesn't that tell you something?" Talia continued arguing.

" well do you think we can look cute as a couple?" Reagan asked.

" can you?" Talia asked back nervously as her eyes rolled over her surrounding.

" question was mine though?" Reagan said.

"It's not on me to decide whether you can be together or not. I just met you today I don't know you you don't know me…so I don't know." Talia said with a jealous tone.

Reagan couldn't help but notice the jealousy in her voice. " no she is not my type and she is in a relationship." Reagan assured Talia.

Talia smirked but tried to hide it. I sign of relief appeared on her face.

Reagan met her gaze, an understanding smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I wouldn't say it's wrong. But hey, we're stronger as a team, right?"

Talia chuckled, shaking her head. "Is this the part where you say 'teamwork makes the dream work'?"

Reagan looked at Talia as she chuckled and couldn't help but notice that she is beautiful. Her lazy eyes with the chubby cheeks and her long blonde hair that cascaded down her back. She was just amazing. Reagan didn't want to have any feelings for her since she was just the boss's daughter and almost her boss and he also was not sure if she felt the same way or had a man out there. He wanted to have his boundaries in order not to provoke her.

" so you were looking for me right?" Talia said teasingly. " oh no I just passed by your office and saw you were not in so I figured I call you and plus Ms. Natasha was looking for you." Reagan responded.

"Oh okay let me go see what she wanted. Thank you though…we will talk. Bye…" Talia said jovially. "Be safe" Reagan smiled. Talia nodded her head and gave an assured smile.

"Mother!" Talia called as she walked in her Natasha's office smiling as if she just met an angel on her way there.

" ooh someone is happy, How are you?" Natasha said.

"I am well and there is nothing beautiful like today's weather. Mom did you know how amazing you are." Talia said in a happy tone.

"What is wrong with you today?" Natasha inquired while walking towards Talia to give her a hug.

"I am okay mother am just happy" Talia responded. " okayy, no problem. But I couldn't help but notice on how you look at Reagan. He is amazing, a hardworker, kind and motivated and I wouldn't mind if you guys end up together." Natasha said as she sat on the edge of the office table.

" mom!" Talia was shocked with her mother's words since she never allowed her to get into a relationship.

" I mean you're now 21, you are no longer a kid anymore and I just want to see you happy." Natasha smiled.

"Anhaaaa." Talia responds.

" anyway I wanted you to work on these documents together with Reagan exchange ideas and come up with a great plan. After you're done take them to Annalise the secretary for her to sign, bring it back to me. Have fun." Natasha said while winking.

Talia found it weird and took the documents from her mother's hands. She could not believe her mom would be cool with that and it made it seem weird that she just supported the idea and it didn't seem fun at all flirting in the office since her mom had her eyes all over.
