Xian Yue and Lin Zhen were training in the depths of the Wandering Phoenix Forest, a place of ancient magic and whispering spirits. The sunlight filtered through the canopy above, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor.
As they trained, Xian Yue decided to head back to the Immortal Realm to fetch some food for their lunch. "I'll be back soon," she said, smiling at Lin Zhen. "Keep practicing your forms."
Lin Zhen nodded, his eyes fixed on the movements of his hands as he practiced the intricate gestures of the Immortal Realm's martial arts.
As soon as Xian Yue disappeared into the trees, a group of shadowy figures emerged from the underbrush. They were members of the Dark Wind Sect, a notorious evil cult that roamed the mortal realm, seeking power and domination.
Their leader, a tall, gaunt figure with eyes that burned with malevolent intent, gazed at Lin Zhen with a calculating gaze. "Ah, an immortal, I see," he sneered, his voice dripping with malice. "We've been searching for one of your kind. You'll make a perfect sacrifice for our master's ritual."
The Dark Wind Sect members closed in on Lin Zhen, their movements swift and deadly. Lin Zhen, still inexperienced in combat, tried to defend himself, but he was vastly outnumbered.
Just as all hope seemed lost, the Dark Wind Sect members suddenly retreated, dragging Lin Zhen with them. They vanished into the trees, leaving behind only a torn fragment of Lin Zhen's garment and a few drops of his blood, staining the forest floor.
Meanwhile, high above the forest floor, a pair of piercing eyes watched the scene unfold. Xiao Hei, a young thief with unparalleled agility and stealth, had been observing the events from the branches of a towering tree.
Xiao Hei's eyes narrowed as he took in the scene. He had been tracking the Dark Wind Sect for weeks, seeking to steal their valuable artifacts. Now, it seemed, they had kidnapped an immortal.
Without hesitation, Xiao Hei leapt from the tree, his body soaring through the air with ease. He landed silently on the forest floor, his eyes fixed on the spot where Lin Zhen had disappeared.
A plan was already forming in Xiao Hei's mind. He would track the Dark Wind Sect, rescue the immortal, and perhaps, just perhaps, steal some of their valuable treasures along the way.
While Xiao Hei went to track them, Xian Yue returned to the clearing, only to find the torn garment part on the floor. Thoughts rose in her mind, and she knew her guess wasn't wrong. 'Lin Zhen has been kidnapped.' She blamed herself, wondering if anything happened to him.
She chased through the footsteps, her heart racing with anxiety. All efforts were futile. Meanwhile, night was already near, and she was not home yet.
Her father, worried, sent his personal bodyguard, Wei Zheng, to look for her. Wei Zheng took some men and went to search for her in the Wandering Phoenix Forest. After searching for long, they found her near a river, already passed out.
Due to the fact she couldn't find Lin Zhen, and she kept blaming herself, she collapsed. Wei Zheng rushed to her side, his face etched with concern.
"Xian Yue, wake up!" he shouted, shaking her gently.
But Xian Yue didn't respond. Wei Zheng's anxiety grew, and he quickly ordered his men to rush her back to the palace.
As they carried Xian Yue back to the palace, she remained unconscious, her mind trapped in a nightmare.
In the Immortal Clan's palace, Xian Yue's father, Lord Qing, waited anxiously for news of his daughter. When Wei Zheng arrived with Xian Yue's unconscious form, Lord Qing's face turned pale with worry.
"Xian Yue, wake up!" Lord Qing cried, shaking his daughter gently.
But Xian Yue didn't respond. Instead, she kept calling out Lin Zhen's name, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Li Zhen... Li Zhen..."
Lord Qing exchanged a worried glance with Wei Zheng. What had happened to Xian Yue? And who was this Li Zhen she kept calling out for?
As Xian Yue continued to toss and turn, trapped in her nightmare, the palace fell silent, filled with an air of foreboding and uncertainty.
