Frederico was already at a safer distance when the explosion erupted. Yet, he pushed through the crowd, unable to sprint directly along the path that Ethan had cleared for him. "Oh no! Master Ethan!" he gasped, trembling with fear. Casting a glance back at the explosion, he feared for his boss's survival. With that thought, he gathered himself and raced as fast as he could toward the mafia mansion.
When he arrived, Frederico's eyes widened in disbelief. "What on earth happened here?" Just hours earlier, the place had been orderly, but now it was a chaotic, bloody scene. His legs felt weak beneath him.
He closed his eyes, trying to make sense of it all. "My goodness, little Ethan!" Without a second thought for the gruesome sight around him, he dashed into the house, heading straight for the underground.
In a secluded area, distant from the main structure, sat a house shrouded in mystery.
"Charles! Charles!"
His voice echoed through the air.
"Hmmm, looks like Dad's back to rescue his precious little boy," one man sneered, dripping with sarcasm.
"Ah! Let's give him a taste of his own medicine, right? Hahaha!" added another.
"I'd love that! Ethan has caused me so much suffering." a husky voice spoke.
"Mask! Drag the boy out from under the bed! He thinks he's clever, but he's just a fool. No one will survive this; Ethan and his boss will pay for challenging me!" the voice thundered, filled with rage.
"No! No! No! Somebody please help me!" Charles begged, his voice laced with desperation, as the man drag he from where he was hiding. He heart slamming against his chest as he try his best to free himself from the man grip on him.
"Perfect! I thrive on this; it's time to bring everything to a close. My brother failed, but I always knew he was useless. Watch while my plan unfolds flawlessly." said the husky voice.
"How does that make you feel? What do you think will happen next? Share your thoughts!" The look in the man eyes send shivers down the spine of little Charles who was trembling uncomfortable.
Thunder clapping could be heard outside; it was raining heavily.
The door to the house was kicked open by Frederico, and he rushed in.
At this point the man were already getting ready to torture little Charles how look pale faced.
"What! Is just one of Ethan underlings!"
As the man finish speaking, the rest of the men burst into laughter.
"Hahahaha!"
"Where's the little boy? Give him to me!" Voiced Frederico. He had no time for game.
"What! Ethan really has the balls to send his underling to take his son. Hmmm, you are welcome to come to try!" The man was really upset. Because he thoughts Ethan was looking down on him.
"Just give me the boy, and I can take you to where Ethan is; no need for anybody to get hurt in the process, right?" Federico asked.
"Who told you to speak?" An old, husky voice spoke up. Shouting dagger at Frederico.
Frederico shook his head, narrowed his eyes, and said.
"I guess the hard way is the only way out!"
"What? The man with the husky shouted, feeling the disrespectful glance from Frederico he ordered his men.Go get him, you fools; just don't stand there. Break his arms and legs; I want to see him beg for mercy before I take his life and that of the boy."
"You guys leave me with no choice then!"
Then Frederico got into a fighting stance.
"Hey boy, it's six against one. How do you plan on handling that?" Said a Cold voice.
"Come on, don't waste my time; I have something else to do!" Added Frederico.
"Okay!" If that's how you want it, so be it.hope you blame yourself. Men attack, break his bones! And I will fed it to the dogs." Echo the husky voice.
In no time, Frederico swung a punch at one of the men rushing towards him, kicked the other man downward with his right foot, and grabbed the third man and punched him hard in the face, knocking out some of his teeth.
The men were flabbergasted by the turn off events fear creeping into their heart, but the one with the husky voice still manage to put up a brave face.
"Hey boy, I never knew your master taught you how to fight. Let's see if you can stand up to my men's next attack.
Fred was already anticipating the man's next line of action. Then one of the men who was already beaten up by Fred immediately pulled out a small dagger and threw it towards Fred's direction.
He immediately sprung into action by jumping to the side of the table that was lying down.
Clapping could be heard across the room.
"This boy is really impressive, than I thought, Hey boy, if you want to play hard, I will make sure of it!" The man with the husky voice was getting irritated by Frederico actions minutes by minutes.
Then the man sitting in the corner of the room made a gesture with his hand over his neck, ordering his men to kill Frederico fast so they can leave.
"Hey, you two, go finish him up; he has nowhere to run off to; we have him cornered!"
Then, two of the men move in slowly, with guns in their hands, ready to finish the job.
But then a look of shock appeared on the men's faces.
"Boss, he's not here; just an opening to what looks like an underground basement." Said one of the men.
"An underground basement! Hmmm I see, so this mafia group was much bigger and more secretive than I thought."
The man with the husky voice was actually the leader of the group, he norrowed his eyes as if trying to see into the future before saying.
"Quickly go in and see what you can find and bring him here too; I want him alive!"
With that, all the men quickly rush into the underground basement, leaving only their boss behind to watch over the boy.
Charles was tied up and kept close by.
"Hey, there are lots of stuff in here; how about we keep some for ourselves!" What do you think, Roni?
Roni looked at man indifferently and narrowed his eyes towards the others; they quickly understood its meaning and nodded.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Fred had already made his way to the front of the basement; as he walked out of it, he made sure to lock it up, trapping the other men inside, since he knew they would come look for him and would surely be distracted by the stuff in and around the basement, slowing their movement. Giving him time to carry out his plan on a full scale.
Fred moved silently in the dark as he made his way to the boss setting at the corner in the dark.
He wasn't aware that Fred was close to him; he was so focused on the door that he didn't notice the figure standing by his right. Immediately he felt something on his head; he turned to look, but it was too late. Fred had him cornered.
"This is actually M14; I'm pretty sure you know its abilities?" Asked Fred.
The other man didn't make any sudden movement; he just stayed where he was and just looked with his eyes bead's of sweat's already forming on the man forehead. He already seen what fred was capable of doing he just didn't want to go down that path while silently praying for his men to come out fast.
"Charles, get over here, look into my bag, and bring out the timer! Take, Hold this!"
Fred gave Charles the gun and took the timer from his hand.
After sometime of no return of his men the man asked.
"What did you do to my men!" Said the man.
Fred had a playful grin on his face and replied.
"Nothing much; I think they found something great. Too bad they won't be able to leave with it anyway, maybe not all of it actually!"
A sheepish smile visible on his face as he placed the timer at the back of the chair.
"I love the smell of.....!" Fred didn't finish his word before a loud sound could be heard.
Boom!
Fred was pleased with himself for not letting his master down. He held his head high and looked into the other man's eyes and said. "If you make any sound or movement, that will be your end."
With that, Fred pulled Charles out of the house and got on a bike that was parked outside.
When they got to some safe space, Fred pulled out a remote-like device and pressed one of the buttons. Then, one part of the house exploded.
Exposing it to the outside world. It beautiful decor could now be seen. Though the building was really solid in and out and will take more than just one explosion to bring it down completely.
"There's more to come!" fred said in a nonchalant tone. As he toss away his phone into the river. He was born for this moment.
