I just lay there.
Flat on my back. Eyes wide open. Staring at the ceiling like it was supposed to give me answers.
But it didn't.
It never does.
I didn't say anything. I couldn't.
What was I even supposed to say?
Who do you talk to when you're tired of talking?
When every word feels useless?
I was tired.
So tired.
Not the kind of tired sleep could fix. Not the kind you feel after working hard. No.
This was a different kind of tired.
A heavy, frustrating kind. A soul-deep kind.
I was tired of pretending. Tired of smiling. Tired of being careful with every step, every word, every breath—just so I wouldn't piss off the wrong person in this cursed pack.
This place doesn't even feel like home anymore.
It feels like a damn den—a place where wild animals watch you from the dark, waiting for you to fall, waiting for you to break.
