I Survived

When I came out of unconsciousness yet again, it was in yet another place that I didn't recognize, so I shot up from my prone position and tried to get ready to defend myself, only to stifle an agonized cry as my head reminded me I was being stupid.

Throbbing more than an erection, my brain was ordering me to sit back down and take this slowly, so I followed its order and fell to my knees before the world could start spinning like mad, and apparently someone else agreed, pushing me back into the bed.

My eyes focused a moment later, and I was greeted with the sight of Ulya, the massive warrior woman humming softly as she had me lay back down before draping a cloth over my brow, cooling me off a little.

"Easy there, bunny. Exhaustion is a serious thing to worry about... You're safe though, alright? We're back in Rathea, back in safety..."

Her voice was soothing, and I nodded before sinking into the pillows and mattress, welcoming its embrace and looking at my savior's face properly for the first time, getting somewhat stunned by my first person in this new world.

Tanned skin that had definitely seen better days gave Ulya a somewhat worn complexion, and yet the black haired warrior didn't care at all as she continued to be a gorgeous woman made even sexier by the faint scars that peppered her face.

Kind green eyes complimented her dark hair perfectly, and those juicy lips were apparently just naturally glossy as she gave me a smile that made me feel like everything was going to be alright no matter what.

Her leather armor was just like mine, clinging to her abundant curves and giving her the ability to move freely while also protecting her, just with the benefit of making her sexy as all hell, though those massive arms and rough hands made it abundantly clear she wasn't going to just take anyways shit.

A muscle mommy if I had ever seen one; that is what Ulya looked like to me, and I stared at her for a few seconds more before asking "Rathea..?", which made her chuckle as she nodded, her green eyes flashing with understanding and a small bit of worry.

"Yes, Rathea. One of the larger cities in the Duchy?"

When she noticed that it didn't seem to ring any bells she clicked her tongue and leaned back in her chair, giving me a little space as she said "That's a bit worrisome. Must've been a terrible mage if you forgot that... or you were from the other side of the forest and never bothered to brush up on our maps.

Anyways, little bunny, Rathea is a safe city for all races, and for us adventurers it's a very excellent hub for any skill levels. All kinds of people come here, and all kinds of jobs need doing. That's what Izzy and I are here for; seeking out some better jobs to make more coin."

That reminded me of the scaled, golden eyed Reptilekin woman that was with her, and as I looked around for her Ulya just chuckled and added "She's out getting us some food and arranging for her and I to get a good job."

Nodding, I stared at Ulya for a few seconds before bowing my head, saying "Thank you very much!" with as much sincerity as I could muster, making the tanned warrior smile again as she nodded and pat my knee.

"Get some rest, and then we can discuss what you'll do going forwards, alright? If this is your first time in Rathea, you'll need to get some stuff sorted, and Izzy said we could help you so long as it didn't take too long. Alright, little bunny?"

"Thank you, Ulya... and my name is Tuzi."

"Sleep, Tuzi. We'll talk more after you sleep."

Getting up and moving the chair away from the bed, Ulya made her way to a nearby table and began to go over some papers and books, and as I followed her with my eyes I finally realized that I wasn't wearing my armor, and the thin clothes I wore were also gone.

Panic set in for a moment before I smiled wryly as I realized that they had likely changed me for my benefit, and considering the warmer, larger clothes I was wearing it seemed I was in one of their extra sets of clothing, though of course I checked myself just in case too.

Not finding anything wrong with my genitals, I felt exhaustion creep back in, forcing a yawn from my lips before my eyes closed yet again, only for me to open them when Ulya shook me back away.

Apparently I had one of those naps were your brain is completely off, and now I was beginning to worry I had brain damage since that's happened too many times recently, but I sat up and dashed that thought from my mind when the warrior placed a tray on my lap.

"Eat. It's steamed vegetables, seared steak and a salad. You're gonna need the nutrients to feel better."

Accepting the food, I picked up the wooden fork and somewhat dull metal knife and got to work, devouring the food without any other thought in my mind as my stomach took control, which by that point I barely noticed that there was another person in the room.

Taller than Ulya and just as built, Izzy was rather intimidating with her more stoic expression and golden, slitted eyes, as well as those orange scales that plated her neck, forearms and more; like Ulya though she was in casual attire now, and damn did she look good.

"So this little bunny - Tuzi - is an E Rank? Damn... tough luck ending up in the forest. Most D Ranks don't step foot in it on their own."

"Well, we agreed she was likely amnesia'd and dumped there, Izzy. Besides, she made it out alive and doesn't seem like she's going back on her lonesome anytime soon..."

They both watched me eat, and I finally looked up and stared back at them as they talked about me, Ulya's gentle expression soothing me just a little more as she gestured for me to keep eating while they talked.

I had likely survived my first day in a new world by being rescued by these two and then sleeping the day away~!

Let's go~!

What a new life~!
