Got it! I'll adjust Xin Er's favorability back to 90 points since she
A Meeting with the Princip
Joshua walked through the grand hallways of Longwei University, his presence alone drawing stares from students. He made his way toward the principal's office, knowing exactly why he was summoned.
Inside, Principal Zhang, an older man with a composed yet authoritative aura, greeted him warmly.
"Ah, Chairman Lim," the principal said, gesturing for Joshua to take a seat. "Or should I say, the pride of our university?"
Joshua chuckled lightly. "Principal Zhang, you're flattering me too much."
The principal leaned forward. "I'll get straight to the point. Your presence has brought great prestige to Longwei University. Many prominent figures are now associating your success with our institution."
Joshua remained silent, letting him continue.
"We want to grant you a special graduation seat," Principal Zhang explained. "This would allow you to graduate without the need to attend classes regularly. You would still need to complete any outstanding academic requirements, but given your schedule, I assume this would be a favorable arrangement."
Joshua considered it. While he enjoyed aspects of university life, his responsibilities as Chairman Lim were far greater.
He leaned back slightly. "That's quite an offer. However, I'll still attend classes when I can. I don't want to completely disconnect from student life."
Principal Zhang nodded approvingly. "A wise decision. The board will finalize the arrangements, and you'll receive the official confirmation soon."
Joshua stood, shaking the principal's hand. "I appreciate the recognition. I won't let the university down."
As he exited the office, his phone buzzed with a message.
[Xin Er: Are you on campus? I have a surprise for you.]
Joshua smirked.
[Joshua: I'm here. Where are you?]
[Xin Er: Outside the business faculty.]
He chuckled to himself, already picturing the attention she was getting.
A Scene That Stole the Campus' Breath
Outside the business faculty, Xin Er stood, completely oblivious to the chaos she was causing.
Her long, dark blue hair swayed gently in the breeze, and her elegant yet simple white dress only amplified her natural beauty. Her presence alone had drawn a crowd of admiring students, all whispering amongst themselves.
"Who is she?"
"She looks like a noble heiress…"
"She's too beautiful. There's no way she's single."
Zhou Ming, a well-known campus flirt, stepped forward confidently. "Miss, are you waiting for someone?"
Xin Er, without sparing him a glance, tapped her phone and replied, "Yes."
Zhou Ming smirked, undeterred. "Lucky guy. Do you mind if I keep you company until then?"
"I mind," Xin Er said simply.
Before Zhou Ming could say another word, a sleek matte-black Bugatti pulled up to the curb.
The moment Joshua stepped out, the atmosphere completely shifted.
Xin Er's eyes lit up, and without hesitation, she rushed toward him, her elegant demeanor shifting into something… much softer.
"Joshua!" she called out excitedly.
The crowd froze.
The poised, untouchable beauty was suddenly playful, her hands lightly tugging on Joshua's sleeve.
Joshua smirked. "Miss Xin Er, are you flirting with me in front of the whole campus?"
Xin Er pouted, her cheeks turning slightly pink. "I wasn't flirting. I was just… excited to see you."
He leaned in slightly. "I'll allow it."
Zhou Ming, who had been watching, turned pale. "Wait… they know each other?"
Joshua then wrapped an arm around Xin Er's waist, guiding her toward the Bugatti.
"Shall we?" he asked smoothly.
Xin Er nodded, sneaking a glance at him. "Where are we going?"
Joshua smirked. "You'll see."
As they walked toward the car, Xin Er shyly muttered, "What's wrong with waiting for my very first boyfriend?"
Joshua raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming on his lips. "Oh? So there's an 'after me'?"
Xin Er's cheeks turned bright red. "O-Of course not!"
Joshua chuckled, opening the car door for her. "Good."
As they drove off, Jia Yi, standing near the library, watched everything unfold from afar.
Her fingers tightened around her phone, a twinge of jealousy creeping into her heart.
"Why does it feel like she's taking him from me?"
A Date Filled with Music and Emotion
Joshua and Xin Er arrived at an exclusive rooftop piano lounge overlooking the city skyline. The ambiance was serene, bathed in warm golden light.
Xin Er's eyes widened as she took in the view. "Joshua, this place…"
"I figured a music prodigy like you would appreciate it."
She turned to him with a smile. "You remembered?"
"I remember everything," Joshua replied smoothly.
They found a grand piano in the center of the lounge. Joshua gestured toward it. "Shall we?"
Xin Er hesitated. "You play?"
Joshua smirked. "You're about to find out."
He sat down, his fingers gliding effortlessly across the keys. The melody he played was rich, full of emotion and nostalgia. Xin Er watched in stunned silence before slowly taking the seat beside him, her fingers joining his in perfect harmony.
Their melodies intertwined, creating something mesmerizingly beautiful.
Xin Er couldn't stop herself from smiling. "You really are full of surprises, Joshua."
He turned to her, his gaze locking onto hers. "I had to be if I ever wanted to impress you."
She looked away, her cheeks slightly flushed. "Well… you succeeded."
The night continued with music, conversation, and stolen glances. And as they sat by the piano, Xin Er felt something shift inside her.
She had already confessed her love. But now… she wanted more.
She wanted him to hold her.
She wanted to be by his side forever.
