"Ugh, which one should I wear?" Eve continued screening through her wardrobe. She picked a few outfits that she thought would be suitable for the event, from an autumn maxi dress down to an evening gown, but none of those satisfied her.
On top of that, Alex's words when she asked about the dress code were 'Just regular business casual. It's a family function with lunch, no formal event.'
And when Eve asked whether it would be better for her to wear a dress or a typical work outfit, Alex simply smiled mysteriously and said.
'Everything looks amazing on you. Suit yourself.'
"That guy is really a good liar. But why would I ask for his opinion in the first place? Ugh, Evelyn, you're an idiot," Eve cursed at herself as she threw a few dresses to the bed to see if one of them would be a good fit.
She picked a few of them and checked herself in the mirror to find the right dress, but her focus was interrupted when there was a knock on the door.
