Ch 18. Pills ,Phones And A New Shop

Dalton City

Jit and Kewal returned to Dalton City, their bags filled with loot from the hunt.

Jit handed all the monster materials to Kewal while keeping the Strengthening Pills for himself.

"Go and sell these items," Jit instructed. "After you're done, meet me at the medical shop."

Kewal nodded and headed towards the monster core shop, while Jit made his way to the medical shop to buy attribute-enhancing pills for Sonu and Soni.

Medical Shop

As soon as Jit entered, the shopkeeper greeted him with a smile.

"Oh, you've returned! What can I help you with today?"

"I need attribute-enhancement pills for children," Jit replied.

The shopkeeper nodded. "What kind of enhancement pills do you need, and how many?"

"I need Agility, Defense, and Intelligence pills—five of each," Jit said.

The shopkeeper retrieved three small boxes, each containing exactly five pills.

"That'll be 1,000 gold coins per pill," the shopkeeper informed him.

Jit activated his Appraisal Skill to check the pill details.

Jit handed over 15,000 gold coins and took the three boxes of pills. Then, he waited outside for Kewal.

A short while later, Kewal arrived with an excited expression.

"Boss! I sold everything and got 38,000 gold coins!" he said excitedly.

"After hunting in the dense forest, we have collected about 20,000 gold coins from monster drop. Adding this, we made a total of 58,000 gold coins in just one day!"

Kewal shook his head in disbelief. "Even the Tiger Guild doesn't make this much in a single day!"

Jit nodded. "Yeah, we earned more than I expected… but I have a lot to buy today, so this money won't last long." He sighed.

Kewal tilted his head. "Buy what, Boss?"

Jit turned towards the marketplace.

"I need to buy some phones and a monster meat refrigerator."

Kewal blinked in surprise. "A refrigerator? Those are only used to store monster meat so it stays fresh for a long time… Why do you need one?"

Jit smirked. "Because I'm opening a monster meat shop."

Kewal's eyes widened.

"Oh… I see."

"Let's go," Jit said.

The two headed toward Electronic Shop.

Dalton City – On the Way to SG Electronics

Jit turned to Kewal.

"Do you know any good shops for buying phones and other electronics?"

Kewal nodded. "In Dalton City, the best one is SG Electronics. It's a branch of SG Company, which is owned by the Segal family. They're one of the top five families in Dhamu City."

Jit's eyes widened slightly. Segal family....?Dhamu City?

He suddenly recalled the beautiful girl he had seen in the dense forest. Isha Segal.

"So… she's a member of the Segal family?" Jit thought to himself.

After a brief pause, he nodded. "Alright. Lead the way."

SG Electronics

Jit and Kewal entered the store, which was massive, with multiple sections selling all kinds of high-tech items—fans, air conditioners, phones, cars, and more.

Jit headed straight for the phone section, where several models were displayed.

A young woman, around 22 years old, stood behind the counter. Seeing Jit approach, she smiled professionally.

"Welcome, sir. How can I help you today?"

"I need a phone," Jit said. "Show me the best models you have."

The saleswoman nodded and took out several phones, placing them in front of him.

She pointed to the first one.

"This is the CP G5 (Crystal Phone Generation 5)."

Made from Level 25 monster materials.

Battery life: 2 days.

Once depleted, you can replace its energy core. Energy cores are available at any electronics shop.

She picked up the next phone.

"This is the CP G6 (Crystal Phone Generation 6)."

Made from Level 42 monster materials.

Battery life: 5 days.

Comes with a charger that uses monster cores as a power source.

Just insert a monster core into the charger, and it will replenish the phone's energy.

Finally, she presented the last phone.

"This is the CP G7 (Crystal Phone Generation 7)."

Made from Level 58 monster materials.

Battery life: 7 days.

Unlike the others, this phone does not require an external charger.

Just insert a monster core directly into the phone, and it will automatically adjust it's shape to match the core's size.

The saleswoman looked at Jit expectantly.

"Which one do you prefer?"

Jit nodded as he listened to the prices.

"The CP G5 is 2,000 gold coins."

"The CP G6 is 3,000 gold coins."

"And the CP G7 is 5,000 gold coins."

He thought for a moment, then asked, "Which one is the most popular?"

The saleswoman smiled. "The CP G6 is the best-selling model. It offers good durability, long battery life, and a reliable charging system. But for those who want the best, the CP G7 is the top choice."

Jit glanced at Kewal. "Which one do you think is better?"

Kewal scratched his head. "Boss, you're rich now. Just buy the CP G7. It'll last longer and be more useful in the long run."

Jit nodded. "Alright. I'll take two CP G7s and three CP G6s."

The saleswoman's eyes lit up. "That's a great purchase! The total will be 19,000 gold coins."

Jit took out a pouch and handed over the gold coins. She quickly processed the payment and carefully packed the five phones into crystal-sealed boxes.

As she handed them over, she added, "Since you bought multiple devices, we're giving you a free set of protective covers and three extra energy cores."

Jit took the items and stored them in his inventory.

Refrigerator Section

After finishing with the phones, Jit and Kewal moved to the refrigerator section, where a salesman greeted them with a polite smile.

"Looking for a monster meat refrigerator? We have various models, each with different storage capacities. The larger the space, the higher the cost."

Jit inspected a few options before deciding. "I'll take two refrigerators, each with a storage capacity of 10 cubic meters."

The salesman nodded. "Excellent choice. That will be 15,000 gold coins for both."

Jit paid the amount, and store the refrigerator in his storage.

After purchasing everything, Jit and Kewal headed toward the Warrior Guild.

Warrior Guild

As usual, the guild was bustling with warriors discussing missions, selling monster cores, and checking the latest bounty postings. Jit ignored the crowd and walked straight to Mira, the receptionist he had met before.

Mira greeted him with a polite nod. "How can I assist you today?"

Jit got straight to the point. "I want to buy land to open a shop. Can you show me available locations?"

Mira pulled out a map of Dalton City and pointed to several areas. "These are the best locations for businesses. Some are near the market, while others are in busier residential districts."

Jit carefully considered his options before pointing at one. "I'll take this spot."

Mira smiled. "Good choice. To buy the land and acquire business permits, it will cost you 16,000 gold coins."

Jit didn't hesitate. "Alright. I'll take it." He paid the amount, securing the land for his monster meat shop.

As Mira finalized the paperwork, Jit asked, "I also want to buy the house I'm renting in Block B. How much will it cost?"

Mira checked the records and replied, "Right now, you're paying 500 gold coins per month in rent. But if you want to buy the house permanently, it will cost you 31,000 gold coins."

Jit rubbed his chin in thought. "Hmm... I'll think about it."

Mira nodded. "Take your time. Just let me know when you decide."

Jit thanked her and turned to Kewal. "Alright, let's go.
