Episode 9 The Hunt Begins

Scene 1 – The Aftermath

📍 An Abandoned Safe House – Lagos

(The team has barely escaped. Their clothes are torn, their bodies bruised, but they made it out. The tension in the room is unbearable.)

(Uche patches up Zainab's arm, while Jason paces back and forth. Patricia stands near Atinuke, who hasn't spoken since the battle.)

Jason: "I still can't believe it."

Uche: (gritting his teeth) "Believe it. He's alive."

Zainab: "But how?"

(The room falls silent. No one has an answer.)

(Patricia clenches her fists. She isn't just shocked—she's angry. Twenty years. Twenty years of pain, of learning to move on, of telling herself he was gone. And now… he's back.)

(Patricia's voice is cold.)

Patricia: "He didn't even try to find us."

(The words sting. Atinuke looks down, her hands still trembling from what happened in the fight.)

(Then—)

BOOM!

(The door BURSTS open—Angel Victor steps inside.)

(He's drenched from the rain, his expression unreadable.)

(Immediately, Jason and Uche pull their weapons. Zainab's eyes glow with power. The entire room is on edge.)

Jason: "Don't take another step."

(Angel Victor doesn't move. He looks at them all… but his eyes land on Patricia and Atinuke. He sees the fear, the confusion, the anger.)

Angel Victor (softly): "…I didn't come to fight."

(Patricia steps forward, her eyes burning with emotion.)

Patricia: "Then why are you here?"

(A tense silence.)

Angel Victor: "Because the war isn't over."

Scene 2 – The Rift Between Them

📍 Inside the Safe House

(The team refuses to lower their weapons.)

Zainab: "You expect us to just trust you?"

Angel Victor: "No." (pauses) "But you need me."

Uche: (laughs bitterly) "Where were you for the past twenty years?"

Angel Victor (looking down): "…Lost."

(Patricia folds her arms.)

Patricia: "That's not an answer."

(Angel Victor finally meets her gaze. His voice is raw.)

Angel Victor: "I woke up in darkness, Patricia. Buried. Forgotten. Alone. Do you know what that's like?"

(The room is silent. No one does.)

Angel Victor: "I clawed my way back. And when I did, I saw the world had moved on without me." (pauses) "You moved on without me."

(Patricia's jaw clenches.)

Patricia: "What did you expect? That we'd sit around waiting for a miracle?"

(Angel Victor doesn't respond.)

(Atinuke suddenly speaks.)

Atinuke: (softly) "…Are you really my father?"

(The question cuts through the tension like a knife.)

(Angel Victor looks at her, something aching in his expression.)

Angel Victor: "…Yes."

(Atinuke stares at him, her emotions warring inside her. She doesn't know whether to believe him, to run to him… or to hate him for staying away.)

Scene 3 – The Government Strikes Back

📍 Presidential Bunker – Abuja

(A group of top-ranking military officials stand before a massive holographic map of Lagos.)

(A stern-looking General, General Adeyemi, speaks.)

General Adeyemi: "The situation has escalated. The supernatural threat is greater than ever."

(A younger officer, Colonel Hassan, steps forward.)

Colonel Hassan: "Sir, our last mission failed. The Red-Eyed Warrior was overpowered."

General Adeyemi: "Then we escalate."

(A screen flickers to life, showing Mr. D. He is sitting in a dark room, watching them with amusement.)

Mr. D: "Gentlemen, you can't win this war with conventional tactics."

General Adeyemi: "We are not here for your games, Mr. D."

Mr. D: (smirks) "Oh, but I have something you'll want."

(A file is uploaded onto the screen. Project Titan.)

Mr. D: "If you want to kill a god… you need a god-killer."

(The General's eyes narrow.)

General Adeyemi: "…Proceed."

Scene 4 – Angel Victor's Warning

📍 Safe House

(Angel Victor turns to the team.)

Angel Victor: "Mr. D is still alive."

(The entire room tenses.)

Zainab: "Impossible."

Angel Victor: "You know better than anyone that man never truly dies."

(Patricia's mind races. Mr. D was the reason they lost everything. He was the reason Angel Victor had to sacrifice himself. And now… he's back?)

Atinuke: (softly) "What does he want?"

Angel Victor: "Me. You. All of us dead."

(The weight of the words settles over the group.)

(Then, without warning—)

🚨 ALERT! ALERT! 🚨

(The Safe House's security system activates.)

A hologram appears. The government has declared the team as Enemies of the State.

📢 "Supernatural entities detected. Lethal force authorized."

📢 "Evacuate immediately."

💥 BOOM! 💥

A missile strikes the building.

(The team barely has time to react before the roof collapses. Soldiers storm the ruins, weapons aimed.)

(But before they can fire—)

⚡ Angel Victor moves. ⚡

(He lifts his axe, the air exploding with electricity. The soldiers are thrown back as he stands in the flames, his eyes glowing.)

Angel Victor: "If they want war… they'll get it."
