Feng Yizhou's smirk deepened, but he didn't argue. Instead, he picked up his coat and gestured toward the door. "Then let's go check on the shipment."
Qingran narrowed her eyes. "Shipment?"
Feng Yizhou nodded. "I didn't mention it earlier, but there's a delivery coming in tonight. You'll want to see it for yourself."
She studied him for a moment, trying to gauge his intentions, but he wasn't giving anything away. Fine. She'd play along. "Let's go."
Haoyu watched them, clearly relieved that Feng Yizhou's attention was no longer on him. "Do I need to come?"
"No," Qingran said immediately.
"You're staying here," Qingran said firmly, already stepping out the door.
Feng Yizhou glanced at Haoyu, his gaze unreadable. "Don't touch anything while we're gone."
Haoyu crossed his arms. "I'm not a child."
"Then stop whining like one," Feng Yizhou said before shutting the door behind him.
