“Where is Dante, by the way?" Georgia asked, frowning. She was in the living room gossiping with Lily over tea, while Vincenzo was shocked to see how those women could go on for hours without taking a break?
"I think he might still be in his room," came his reply.
"OK great and then I'll see you guys at lunch. Let me go and surprise my other son," she waved at them before rushing to Dante's room.
Standing outside his room, she kicked the door open as if she owned the place. She took a step in but froze at the sight in front of her. A tear leaked from her eye and continued to trail down her cheek. It was a tear of happiness.
For the first time in ten years, she was witnessing her baby sleeping.
