Casual Talk

A soft melody filled the kitchen as a woman hummed while preparing breakfast. The aroma of freshly cooked food spread through the house.

"Good morning, Mom!" Alex greeted as he entered the dining room. "Hurry up! Mom's waiting for us," he called out to his brothers.

One by one, the Nonuplets made their way to the dining table.

"Good morning, boys. Hurry up, the food is ready," their mother said with a warm smile.

Sarah Collin, the mother of the Nonuplets, worked as a secretary for their father. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time to take care of her family.

As the boys settled in and began eating, their father walked in, his presence commanding attention.

"So, everyone's here," Anthony Collin, their father, said as he took his seat. "What's new at school?"

"Nothing much, just the usual," Evan replied casually.

"Dad, about what we talked about the other day…" Alex said, his voice firm.

"Oh! I thought you were joking," Anthony said with a chuckle.

"Father, I'm serious," Alex said, giving his father a sharp look.

Anthony sighed, shaking his head. "Alright, alright. Sometimes I forget you're all more mature than your age," he admitted. "Since you're so determined to get into business, I'll buy a share of your choice for your birthday."

"Thank you, Father!" Alex said, satisfied.

"It's surprising that Father actually agreed to your request," Harry commented.

"Well, he's been asking me about it for almost two years," Anthony admitted with a smirk.

"Haha! By the way, have you heard about the interscholastic football tournament happening this month?" Max asked, changing the subject.

"Well, what's there to talk about our school will win with Richard and David on our side," Elon said confidently.

"Enough talking," Anthony said, his tone firm. "Let's eat quietly."

The boys nodded and focused on their breakfast. Once they finished, they grabbed their bags and headed to school.

Once the Nonuplets had left, Anthony leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful.

"I still can't believe it sometimes," he muttered.

Sarah, clearing the table, glanced at him. "What are you talking about?"

"Our sons," Anthony said, shaking his head in amazement.

Sarah chuckled. "Well, what can I say? They're geniuses."

Anthony sighed. "I remember when Alex first asked me to buy shares in some unknown company. At the time, I thought he was just pretending to be mature, throwing out a random company name that didn't even exist."

"But after seeing how persistent he was, I decided to do some research," Anthony continued.

"And what did you find?" Sarah asked, raising an eyebrow.

Anthony let out a small laugh. "I was shocked. The company he mentioned actually exists."

"So, that's why you agreed to buy the shares?" Sarah asked.

"Well, I want to see what he can do," Anthony admitted.

Sarah smiled softly. "I won't interfere with whatever you and Alex decide. Just don't push him too hard."

Anthony let out a deep sigh. "Let's see what happens in the future."
