Alex sat in her office, staring blankly at the papers on her desk. She couldn't concentrate. Her mind kept wandering back to the conversation she had with her parents.
Marriage. To Rian Musk. It was unthinkable.
She couldn't imagine being married to someone she had never met. Someone who was only interested in her family's business.
As she sat there, lost in thought, Rachel walked in with a curious expression.
"Miss Alex, I have some information about Mr. Rian Musk," Rachel said, hesitating.
Alex raised an eyebrow. "What kind of information?"
Rachel hesitated again. "I'm not sure if I should be telling you this, but...I heard that Rian Musk is not happy about the marriage either."
Alex's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?"
Rachel nodded. "Yes. Apparently, he's been arguing with his grandfather about it."
Alex felt a spark of curiosity. Maybe Rian Musk wasn't as bad as she thought.
"Rachel, can you find out more about Rian Musk's family?" Alex asked, her mind racing with possibilities.
Rachel nodded. "I'll see what I can find out."
As Rachel left the office, Alex couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she and Rian could find a way out of this arranged marriage.
But as she sat there, lost in thought, Alex couldn't shake the feeling that she was in for a wild ride.
Meanwhile, Rian was sitting in his office, staring at a photo of Alex. He had been given the photo by his grandfather, along with a dossier on her family's business.
Rian's eyes narrowed as he looked at the photo. Alex was beautiful, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of resentment. He was being forced to marry her, after all.
As he sat there, lost in thought, Rian's assistant walked in.
"Mr. Musk, your grandfather is on the phone," the assistant said.
Rian's eyes rolled. What did his grandfather want now?
He picked up the phone, his voice firm. "Yes, Grandfather?"
"Rian, I've been thinking," his grandfather said, his voice smooth. "Maybe it's time for you to meet Miss Get to know her a little better."
Rian's eyes narrowed. What was his grandfather up to?
"I don't know, Grandfather," Rian said, his voice cautious. "I'm not sure I'm ready to meet her."
His grandfather's voice turned cold. "Rian, you'll do as you're told. You'll meet Alex and you'll make a good impression."
Rian's eyes flashed with anger. He was trapped, and he didn't know how to escape.
But as he hung up the phone, Rian couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity. What would Alex be like in person?
And as he sat there, lost in thought, Rian couldn't shake the feeling that his life was about to change forever.
