The Hanfu Tea Party

While changing into the Hanfu, Luo Ye suddenly realized something shocking.

He couldn't actually wear this!

Yesterday, in the store, the staff had helped him change, and he had joined the Hanfu club because Senior Sister Bai Zuo was a member. He had never really worn this kind of clothing before.

He felt embarrassed; how could he not know how to wear traditional clothes?

Especially the waistband... Was this supposed to be the waistband?

Luo Ye opened the door to the room and hesitantly said, "Uh… Senior?"

Before he could finish his sentence, Su Bai Zuo already knew what he was going to say.

"Can't wear it?"

"Yeah."

Seeing this, Su Bai Zuo walked into the room.

Although Luo Ye didn't know how to wear it properly, he had managed to get most of it on, so he wasn't exposing too much. The Hanfu was mainly white, with blue floral patterns and designs that made the blue stand out more visually.

Su Bai Zuo gently extended her slender fingers, helping Luo Ye adjust the outfit, occasionally brushing against him.

Luo Ye, not daring to speak, felt his heart race, his breathing quickening.

In fact, Su Bai Zuo was also slightly nervous, but she was much better at hiding it.

The two of them silently worked together, dressing Luo Ye.

Luo Ye had come well-prepared, even bringing a wig.

After putting it on, his entire demeanor changed. He seemed like a completely different person—elegant and refined, like a young scholar. His face was clean, and his eyes seemed to contain countless stars.

Luo Ye took out a folding fan from his bag, spun around, and with a slight grin, said in a soft voice, "Miss Su, please."

Su Bai Zuo paused for a moment, then expressionlessly replied, "Please."

At the moment he put on the Hanfu, Luo Ye felt like speaking casually would ruin his image, so he became more dignified in his actions and speech.

Su Bai Zuo didn't need to do this; she was always poised.

But once they got into the small pink car, everything, including their image, fell apart.

The tiny car, with two good-looking people in Hanfu, seemed quite out of place.

As the engine started, Luo Ye cleared his throat and said in a commanding tone:

"Drive!"

Su Bai Zuo: ?

"Heh, sorry, couldn't help it," Luo Ye chuckled awkwardly.

The car sped along, quickly arriving at the meeting location.

The Hanfu Club's gathering was definitely unique.

It was a tea party, where the food was light and refreshing, without the greasy smell of oil. The attendees sat like ancient people, either writing poetry or drinking wine for leisure.

Of course, the wine was specially brewed with a low alcohol content, so it was hard to get drunk, and those who couldn't handle alcohol could drink tea instead.

At the tea party, Liu Jianglai was sitting on a bench. Although he was a guy, his manners were even more graceful than those of most girls. A group of girls surrounded him, but not in an obsessive way—clearly, they saw him as one of their own.

"Cough, cough, junior sisters, you're too enthusiastic. I'm going to start calling names now."

"Su Bai Zuo."

The first name called was the club president's, but she wasn't there.

Liu Jianglai seemed used to this. Su Bai Zuo was often busy and would miss club activities, so he just skipped her name and continued calling the others.

Until...

"Luo Ye."

No response...

"Luo Ye?"

Still no response.

After calling out the names, Liu Jianglai realized that the only two people who hadn't shown up were Su Bai Zuo and Luo Ye.

His expression changed quickly.

Confusion, surprise, delight, and excitement!

Could it be that Senior Sister Bai Zuo had finally found someone?

At this thought, Liu Jianglai couldn't help but smile with satisfaction.

As someone who shared similar interests with the girls, he often wished he were a woman. If he were, and looked like Su Bai Zuo, he'd have a harem of thousands.

Upon seeing Su Bai Zuo's stunning beauty, Liu Jianglai's first reaction wasn't desire—it was envy. Such an enchanting face, it was a shame she hadn't played the role of the campus queen.

But Su Bai Zuo never dated and barely even interacted with boys.

Now, it seemed like there might finally be a possibility.

The tea party was about to begin, and as everyone dressed in Hanfu mingled, Liu Jianglai smiled with approval.

Suddenly, the chatter around them quieted.

At the entrance of the hall, two figures appeared.

A graceful young man holding a folding fan, with a kind face, and a woman dressed in a red Hanfu, exuding an aura of an ancient noble bride. Her face was cold, but her beauty was striking.

Their appearance was clearly different from everyone else, as if they had come from another world. The Hanfu fit them perfectly, with no trace of modern attire.

The room erupted in astonished exclamations. Everyone was amazed by their appearance.

Most of the attendees were new students, mostly girls, and not everyone was like Wang Dazui, who knew the senior cold beauty from the third year. They had never seen Luo Ye before.

They were simply mesmerized by the two beautiful figures walking in.

Liu Jianglai stood up and said, "Everyone, many of the juniors here haven't met her before. This is our Hanfu Club president, Su Bai Zuo."

Upon hearing her name, many people suddenly understood.

They may not have met Su Bai Zuo, but they had certainly heard of her.

The campus goddess, a computer science prodigy, a role model for many.

No wonder she was so beautiful—so this was Su Bai Zuo.

But now the question arose: rumors said she was as cold as ice, never participating in social activities, and didn't have any male friends.

Why was she here now? And who was the guy with her?

Seeing the curious expressions of those around them, Luo Ye slowed his pace. He went from walking beside Su Bai Zuo to walking behind her, trying to create the impression that they were just coincidentally together, not familiar with each other.

He couldn't ruin Senior Sister's image.

And indeed, the people around them believed him.

Soon after, some girls came over to get to know Luo Ye. After all, he was quite handsome.

When the tea party began, the servers brought small snacks and tea to each table.

In the center of the hall, a traditional music band played captivating tunes.

Su Bai Zuo sat beside Liu Jianglai, who sipped his tea and, with a sidelong glance, smiled lightly, saying, "Senior Bai Zuo, you came here with that junior, right?"

"He's Professor Gu's younger brother," Su Bai Zuo replied indifferently.

"Professor Gu... No wonder. But even if he's Professor Gu's brother, with your personality, you wouldn't just get to know him because of that, would you?"

Liu Jianglai knew Su Bai Zuo well. Even though Professor Gu was her teacher, Su Bai Zuo wouldn't treat his brother any differently because of that.

So, if she was willing to get to know Luo Ye, it must be because there was something about him that attracted her.
