There's actually a pedan alien spaceship in this set?
But that makes sense. After King Joe was defeated by Ultraseven, a Pedan Alien spaceship indeed flew out from its chest, only to be immediately blown up by Ultraseven. Also, the toy set includes a Pedan Alien spaceship.
Back in the day, due to technical limitations, the Pedan Aliens only appeared as two shadowy figures. It wasn't until the Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle that the Pedan Aliens officially appeared, controlling an army of countless King Joes and possessing a massive ark-class warship.
The Pedan Aliens are a species of extraterrestrials similar in size to humans. They wear special armored space suits and have wristbands that allow them to teleport freely within a certain range. Their weapons include an electric baton and a specialized Pedanium ray gun.
As for the protective capability of their armor—honestly, in the show, it was practically nonexistent, even inferior to the bulletproof armor of the Galactic Military.
Both the Pedanium ray gun and the Pedanium cannon used by the Pedan Aliens are specialized energy weapons. Pedanium energy, like the Ultra species' rays, is a unique cosmic energy that the Pedan Aliens have mastered. With certain techniques, it can even be transferred to other spacecraft.
After being modified and installed on the Panlong, the weapon's power became incredible. According to the setting, it can destroy a small asteroid.
In the show, it was powerful enough to take down a wandering Bemstar in one shot. At full power, it could even destroy dozens of King Joes.
The Pedanium cannons equipped on King Joe are of the same type and can also be mounted on spaceships as primary weapons. The Pedan Aliens' weapons should not be underestimated, but since Ultraseven was a low-budget production, their true power wasn't fully displayed.
Then there's the teleportation wristband, which allows free movement within a certain area. This is what Rod is most excited about—it's the perfect tool for assassination, robbery, and surprise attacks.
Rhodes turned to the young Hospitaller Sister and said, "Elena, my spaceship has arrived. I'm going outside to receive it."
The sky was already darkening, and there was still an hour before the scheduled time. Rhodes planned to summon both King Joe and the Pedan Alien spaceship to assess their capacity and figure out how to explain King Joe's origins. Most importantly, he wanted to explore the Pedan Alien spaceship and see if he could find any useful equipment. He was particularly eager to get his hands on that teleportation wristband.
"Really? Mr. Rhodes, should I call the captain and the Canoness?" Elena asked excitedly.
"You can go inform them. Tell them to meet me in an hour at the mountaintop over there. My spaceship will be parked there," Rhodes instructed.
"Got it!" Elena nodded and quickly ran out of the cave, heading toward the Space Marines' captain.
Rhodes also stepped out of the cave and moved to the other side of the mountain. He then used his system's storage space to summon the Pedan Alien spaceship.
This spaceship, which came as a bonus with King Joe, was only about the size of King Joe's chest—approximately 5 meters in diameter—and had a four-cornered disc shape. It was a small spacecraft designed for interstellar expeditions and could work in tandem with King Joe. It could either dock externally on King Joe's chest or hide inside its massive chest compartment.
Since it was obtained through the system, the ship's AI automatically designated Rhodes as its primary user.
As the spaceship's hatch opened, Rhodes stepped inside. The circular ship had two levels: the upper level was a command center, while the lower level contained a crew lounge and the ship's power core.
The command center featured a ring of 12 soldier seats around the perimeter. In the middle, there were three additional seats—two for pilots and one for the captain.
The ship had a crew capacity of 15.
Each seat came with a matching Pedan Alien spacesuit, including a standard helmet, armor, and weapons. The two pilot seats and the captain's seat were equipped with ray pistols and retractable short batons, while the standard soldier seats had Pedanium ray rifles.
Rhodes was especially eager to get his hands on the teleportation wristband. Unfortunately, only the captain's seat was equipped with one; regular soldiers and pilots did not have them.
As soon as Rhodes put on the wristband, he immediately understood how to use it. The wristband could be charged inside the spaceship, and once fully charged, it allowed for 20-phase teleports within a certain range.
Most importantly, the wristband could teleport its user directly back to the spaceship—even from across a planetary distance. This was far superior to regular phase teleportation.
Damn! If humanity could crack this personal teleportation technology, the snipers of the Space Necrons would be in serious trouble.
Rhodes also wondered how the Pedanium ray gun compared to the Space Necrons' Gauss weapons.
He picked up a Pedanium rifle and examined it. The design was sleek, but he needed to test its power later. As for the armor and electric baton, he wasn't interested—those had performed poorly in the original series.
After inspecting the first level, Rhodes moved to the second level of the spaceship. This area contained 14 capsule sleep pods, a private captain's cabin, and a storage room. In the center was a massive energy converter and the ship's propulsion system, which could absorb stellar energy to power the ship.
The ship might be small, but it was well-equipped.
However, there was a problem. The spaceship was too small. Even with King Joe, evacuating everyone would be difficult. There were still over 1,000 surviving Astartes.
The ship's official capacity was 15, but by squeezing people into the lower deck, it might fit 50 to 60.
King Joe's chest compartment, if emptied, could fit another 400 to 500 people.
But King Joe's head, waist, and leg compartments couldn't accommodate any passengers.
That meant at least half of the Astartes wouldn't fit.
Rhodes frowned. Would he have to leave half of them behind?
Just then, an idea struck him. He opened the [Monster Enhancement] menu.
Unlike biological monsters, mechanical monster enhancements didn't just increase size and weight—they added new weapons, components, and modifications.
Rhodes still had 5,000 system coins saved up.
Could he upgrade this spaceship?
Since it was technically a part of King Joe's system, it should be eligible for upgrades.
