Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [200]

On the frozen planet of Gleya, Rhodes' Pedan ship had already landed. This time, it was the largest standard Pedan ship, easily capable of carrying several thousand people.

"The Emperor guides us. Lord Rhodes is just ahead—follow me, I'll take you there." Living Saint Celestine's eyes flashed golden as if receiving some divine guidance, and she pointed in a direction as she spoke.

Rhodes nodded, signaled to Elena to follow, and the three moved forward with Celestine. All three could fly, so their speed was extremely fast.

This was a secret transaction between the Emperor, the Laughing God, and even the Eldar God of Death. If the big players weren't involved, the Living Saint wouldn't have come to guide them, and the Ynnari wouldn't have suddenly appeared on this planet either.

After flying for a while, they saw a massive warship suddenly descend onto the planet's surface, followed by countless Chaos drop pods raining down.

Once the Chaos forces landed, they immediately began their search. However, Rhodes' ship was cloaked, making it undetectable, and the three of them were such small targets, that they were nearly impossible to find on an ice-covered world.

"Lord Rhodes! The Chaos forces have discovered our plan—they're trying to stop us!

We need to hurry and get that vital person back to the mothership as quickly as possible," Celestine said urgently.

"That must be the flagship of the Chaos Warmaster! Abaddon himself came in person?" Rhodes asked, stroking his chin.

He hadn't expected the undefeated Abaddon to come personally. Should he have a little fun with this Dark Warrior? Maybe beat him up and let him taste his new evolution?

"That's right, it's the Warmaster himself, Lord Rhodes, and Lady Elena—the Four Chaos Gods must have given Abaddon a revelation.

They even had him stop pursuing the Imperial fugitives just to come after us," Celestine explained.

"Lord Rhodes, are we going to fight Abaddon the Warmaster? The Dark Warmaster Abaddon..." Elena asked excitedly.

Having just received such immense power, upgraded to a super lifeform with the strength of a cosmic phantom beast, she was eager to test her abilities.

Abaddon was the Empire's number one enemy—the greatest Chaos foe in ten thousand years.

He used to be an untouchable final boss for her; if he showed up, he could kill her with a flick of his hand.

But now, her power seemed strong enough to take him on—maybe even stronger than your average Primarch.

"What, you want to take on the Dark Warmaster yourself?" Rhodes asked with a slight smile.

"Um, Lord Rhodes, I... I want to try it. I want to fight Abaddon," Elena took a deep breath and mustered her courage.

She was determined. From now on, she had to help Lord Rhodes, even becoming a true combatant herself.

"No problem, count on me to back you up.

Go all out, and if you can't beat him, I'll send him flying with my Phantom Bull fist," Rhodes gave her a thumbs-up.

"No! Lord Rhodes, you absolutely cannot risk yourself. The Emperor said you still haven't been noticed by the Four Chaos Gods.

The longer you go unnoticed, the better for you—it gives you more time to grow stronger.

Because you have the Emperor's protection.

But if you show yourself to Abaddon, the Four Chaos Gods will notice you," Celestine said, landing from the sky to speak to Rhodes.

The Emperor had given her an extremely important mission: to ensure Lord Rhodes' safety at all costs.

Never let the gaze of any of the Four Chaos Gods fall upon Lord Rhodes. If he weren't so crucial to building trust between both sides in this rescue, she wouldn't have wanted him to risk himself at all.

As for Lady Elena, according to the Emperor, the moment she was born, the Four Chaos Gods had already noticed her.

An ordinary soul suddenly blazing like a sun in the Warp—how could it not draw attention?

The Warp is a place where dreams and reality entwine, and the Four Chaos Gods can even see things outside of the timeline.

But for some unknown reason, they can't see Lord Rhodes—only Elena. The Chaos Gods are now focused on this female Primarch.

"So, Celestine, what are you suggesting?" Rhodes asked.

Looks like I am well hidden!

Not only is the system protecting me, but the Emperor is shielding my soul, and even the Laughing God is helping in certain ways.

Rhodes is a transmigrant, so his soul had never been in the Warp before, with no Warp markings. Even as he grew stronger, he could stay hidden if he wanted.

But Elena was different—she's native to the Warhammer universe, so she can be detected by the Chaos Gods, though that's all they can do.

The Four Chaos Gods can't directly interfere with the material universe—they're insulated from it.

"Either we quickly find our target, persuade them to leave with us immediately, and avoid any conflict with Chaos—that's the best way.

If a fight with Chaos is unavoidable, then Lord Rhodes, please don't become the main player in this war," Celestine said.

"I get it, you want me to play the anonymous bystander, right?" Rhodes rolled his eyes.

Come on, I wanted to beat up Abaddon!

"Lord Rhodes, you must keep your identity hidden.

We're near the Eye of Terror—if the Four Chaos Gods discover you, they'll stop at nothing to catch you.

Here, reality has already been torn apart, and the Chaos Gods can directly intervene.

They might even try to drag this planet into the Eye of Terror, into the Warp.

You're powerful but never underestimate your enemies.

That's the Emperor's advice—learn to hide until you're truly strong," Celestine said.

The Emperor had told her Rhodes was just too important! Even summoning Roboute Guilliman was just to have him act as Regent and draw Chaos's attention away—giving Rhodes more time to grow.

"Lord Rhodes, the Living Saint is right. You must not expose yourself to the Chaos Gods," Elena nodded as well.

"Alright, I get it. I'll keep a low profile this time," Rhodes rolled his eyes.

Just near the Eye of Terror, where the rift between reality and the Warp has been completely torn open.

I'll keep my head down—Abaddon, you got lucky this time.

"Hehe, Lord Rhodes, let me be the main character this time!" Elena looked at the approaching Chaos fleet.

She patted her chest, and her body was immediately wrapped in a pink light, transforming into a giant 47-meter-tall figure: the cosmic phantom beast, the Frost Leopard. On this frozen planet, it could unleash even stronger ice powers.

"Have fun, Elena. I'll cover you," Rhodes waved at Elena.

Nodding to Rhodes, Elena condensed a pink freezing energy orb in her palm, instantly freezing a Hell Drake in the sky into an ice sculpture, then smashing it to the ground.

"Lady Elena, you've only just fused with me—you can't use my full power yet. Let me control the body for now," the cosmic Frost Leopard spoke.

Elena nodded, temporarily handing over control of her body to the beast—a powerful substitute fighter.

After all, she'd only just fused with the phantom beast less than a day ago and wasn't familiar with its combat methods.

On the battlefield, a figure in pink power armor, bigger than a Warmaster-class corrupted Titan, naturally drew the attention of the entire Chaos fleet.

Rhodes and Celestine exchanged nods and then flew toward the Ynnari.

Elena, clad in pink power armor, swung her giant fists and smashed a Chaos Daemon Titan to bits.

The scene was utterly shocking. Countless Chaos Space Marines stood at a distance, bewildered. What the hell is this thing?

Is it a new Titan developed by the Imperium? But why does it look like a giant Battle Sister?

But Battle Sisters use chainswords and bolters—this giantess is fighting barehanded!

And what's with those freezing energy orbs she's firing from her palms?

On a hillside, Chaos Warmaster Abaddon's lips twitched.

He slowly turned his head and gave a death glare to the Chaos Sorcerer beside him.

"You just told me that's the female Primarch?"

That's a Primarch? A Primarch wouldn't even reach her calf!

Look! She's only slightly smaller than an Emperor-class Titan!

"Ahem, that's just one of her transformation abilities..." the Chaos Sorcerer replied awkwardly.

"Order the macro cannons in the sky to fire," Abaddon commanded.

The macro cannons fired down from the sky, but Elena's body suddenly shrank rapidly.

In a pink flash, she returned to human size, dodging the macro cannon fire, then charged at high speed into the ranks of the Chaos Space Marines.

She transformed back into giant form, stomping dozens of Chaos Space Marines to death.

Her terrifying speed and shifting size left all the Chaos Space Marines utterly stunned.

How the hell do you even fight something like this?!
