"This isn't from the material universe, but from a strange dimension—maybe even unknown to me," Slaanesh said.
Normally, material metals would be warped in the Warp, unless protected by a Gellar Field.
But this armor and weapon were unaffected. Even the child's body wasn't entirely from the material universe—more like a special energy.
Something between illusion and reality, a bit like the Eldar Webway, but different. The Webway is a highway through the universe; this child's energy is more like a Warp force—unique and fascinating to Slaanesh.
"Great Mother, my body once entered a strange dimension. There, I absorbed energy and forged my sword and armor from it," the Slaanesh Assassin, prompted by Rhodes, explained uneasily.
This androgynous being caressing him was creepy.
"A strange dimension? Tell me more?" Slaanesh was intrigued.
A new world—if Slaanesh could explore it, who knows what powers might be found?
"Sorry, Mother! I only entered by accident, and now I can't reach it again," the Slaanesh Assassin said.
Slaanesh looked very disappointed, even annoyed.
Remotely controlling, Rhodes decided to bait Slaanesh further—only by using the dimensional world as bait could he get real benefits.
"Oh, what a pity! If I could have that power, it would be perfect!" Slaanesh sighed.
"But, Mother, if I become strong enough, maybe I can break the barrier again and enter that strange world. It's unknown—if we could take it, imagine the wealth!" the Assassin said.
"Stronger? How strong?" Slaanesh asked.
"I don't know, but with more strength and my experience there, I might extract some energy from it," the Assassin replied.
"Strange energy? You can extract it?" Slaanesh asked.
"Yes, Mother! But I need to be stronger first," the Assassin replied.
Rhodes had a plan now—let Slaanesh take the bait, little by little!
"I understand. Let me upgrade your weapon first."
Slaanesh began blessing the armor and sword, carving runes, and infusing divine power.
Weird purple light flowed, and pink runes appeared on the sword and armor, along with twisted faces.
The enhancements made the weapon a true artifact, top-tier even among relics, thanks to the rare forging material.
The Slaanesh Assassin was very satisfied—it was far stronger than before, sharper and deadlier.
The divine power could corrupt an entire planet.
"This weapon wields unimaginable power. Any mortal who sees it is instantly corrupted, becoming your servant. Any wounded by it become your puppets. The armor lets you enter the Warp at will, with Warp and divine shields to protect you," Slaanesh said.
"Thank you, Mother!"
"No need to thank me—you earned it by defeating Fulgrim. Name your weapon and armor," Slaanesh said.
Remotely, Rhodes immediately transmitted the names to the Assassin.
"Call it Frostmourne! The armor is the Armor of Dominion," the Assassin said.
Perfect for stabbing your dad. Rhodes looked forward to the Assassin using Frostmourne on Slaanesh one day.
"Very unique names. Now, my child, I give you another reward—a name. From today, you are Slaanesh's Divine Child: Sidonis," Slaanesh declared.
This was more than a name—it was a blessing from a Chaos God.
From that moment, all Slaanesh's daemons knew a Divine Child had appeared, outranking Greater Daemons and Daemon Princes.
"Yes, Mother! From now on, I am Sidonis," the Assassin—now Sidonis—knelt.
According to his master, he now had official status.
"You don't need to kneel before me anymore. I grant you this privilege—you are my Divine Child," Slaanesh said.
"Thank you for your generosity, Mother!"
"Now, let's discuss your mission. Where were we?" Slaanesh asked, lying back on their luxurious bed.
"Mother, you were speaking about Abaddon, his defeat by the female Primarch, my suggestion to capture her, and you assigning that to Fulgrim," Sidonis replied.
"Oh, right! Abaddon made a deal with another Chaos God, Vashtorr. He's mutated, absorbed many lesser god soul fragments, and his soul is now at a minor god level. His body is infused with daemon energy—now a Chaos Daemon Primarch, as strong or stronger than ascended Primarchs," Slaanesh said.
Abaddon returned to the Black Legion, immediately demonstrating his power and reestablishing authority, claiming his defeat by the female Primarch was just bait, like his previous Black Crusades.
The four Chaos Gods all have spies in Abaddon's Black Legion and learned this at once.
"I want you to lead one of my Chaos Champions to Abaddon's flagship and test his strength. If possible, teach him a lesson so he knows for whom he truly serves," Slaanesh said.
Abaddon had grown so powerful that even Slaanesh's strongest daemons or Daemon Princes might not be able to restrain him. As the chosen of all four gods, he couldn't be erased but needed a warning.
Now, with the Divine Child's power, he should be able to defeat Abaddon, and if he could, he'd also be strong enough to beat the now-transcendent Guilliman.
"As you command, Mother!" Sidonis nodded.
On the other side, Rhodes was thinking—this isn't quite what I expected!
Abaddon hadn't become a Daemon Prince, but a Chaos Primarch. My butterfly effect is stirring up a storm in the Warhammer world.
Rhodes was also curious about Abaddon's strength. In theory, with so many minor god soul fragments, he upgraded, but his mortal body is a weakness—without a matching vessel, even a godly soul can't realize its full power.
"Alright, off you go! Soon, the Chaos Champion will find you—get along, they're also my chosen," Slaanesh said, yawning.
Rhodes breathed a sigh of relief—his first plan had succeeded. Next, he needed to earn Slaanesh's trust and extract divine power.
Just absorbing one Daemon Prince's Slaanesh power had boosted Sidonis' strength considerably. With 2 million system coins for core enhancement, plus Slaanesh's power, he might reach a whole new level.
After leaving Slaanesh's palace, the daemonette who had led Sidonis out followed.
"Great Divine Child Sidonis! Lord Lucius is waiting for you. Please follow me," the daemonette said respectfully.
