Morning...
The sun slowly rose from the east, casting its warm glow over the world.
At the same time, inside a dormitory room at the Academy of Magic, two strikingly beautiful girls were engaged in conversation.
"Sherlin, did you hear the news yesterday? Your big brother, Arthur Crown, managed to kill one of the dragon race's leaders—the Black Dragon Empress!"
Sitting on the bed, a young woman with a captivating appearance turned to Sherlin, who was fixing her attire in front of the mirror.
She had an exquisite face, framed by long, light green hair styled into a neat bun on the right side. Her innocent green eyes shimmered with a natural charm.
Dressed in a mage's uniform, her slender yet curvaceous figure was impossible to conceal.
The most striking feature of her beauty, however, was the small mole just beneath her left eye, adding to her irresistible allure.
Upon hearing the question, Sherlin, who usually had a cold expression, couldn't help but smile slightly and give a small nod.
"Of course, I heard about it, Lucia. The entire class was informed through an official notice," she replied smugly, gazing at her reflection with evident satisfaction.
In the mirror's reflection, she wore a stunning blue gown, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a romantic date.
Her usually tied-up blue hair was left to flow freely, creating a striking contrast to her usual look.
A pair of round blue earrings, adorned with delicate cloud patterns, dangled elegantly from her ears.
If her everyday appearance was already a flawless 100, then with this look, she easily surpassed 200.
It was no exaggeration to say that any man who laid eyes on her would be utterly captivated by her beauty and charm.
Even Lucia, sitting at the edge of the bed, couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy at Sherlin's perfection.
Though Lucia herself was by no means lacking in beauty, everyone at the Academy knew that Sherlin stood above the rest.
After all, the students of the Academy of Magic had bestowed upon her the title of the Incarnation of the Moon Goddess, Luna—the most beautiful among the three supreme goddesses worshipped by the Holy See.
"By the way, Sherlin," Lucia called out curiously. "Where are you heading so early in the morning dressed like that?"
She paused for a moment before a knowing smile curved her beautiful lips. "Or… could it be that you have a date with someone from the academy? If that's the case, tell me who it is! I'm dying to know which lucky boy has caught the heart of our beloved goddess."
Excited, she quickly stood up and walked over, shaking Sherlin's right arm eagerly.
As the most beautiful woman at the Academy of Magic, Sherlin naturally had countless admirers—boys who secretly harbored feelings for her.
However, most of them never dared to confess. Sherlin's cold and indifferent demeanor made her seem untouchable, intimidating anyone who considered approaching her.
Moreover, she was the sister of Arthur Crown—the most powerful man in the world.
Anyone who dared confess their love for her would have to face the consequences of getting hit by the only person in history to achieve the level of Sovereign Lord Mage.
Sherlin rolled her eyes and gave a slight shake of her head. "I'm not dating any boy. They simply don't interest me."
Her words were cold and indifferent, laced with a hint of disdain, causing Lucia to sigh in resignation.
She wasn't surprised by Sherlin's strong rejection of the boy students at the Academy of Magic.
Although the students there were among the most gifted and talented, a clear divide existed between them.
Many had been regarded as geniuses in their small towns, only to realize upon entering the Academy that they were far from exceptional.
As the saying goes, "There's sky above the sky," and this gap was undeniably real at the Magic Academy.
Those at the top were the truly extraordinary—like Sherlin, who stood among the elite. It was the primary reason she looked down on the others.
Shaking off her thoughts, Lucia blinked her beautiful eyes in curiosity and asked, "So, where exactly are you headed dressed like this?"
Sherlin, wearing a white necklace with a crystal pendant, replied casually, "I'm going to meet Big Brother Arthur."
"Oh?" Lucia blinked in surprise before breaking into an excited smile. "Can I come too? I'd love to meet Brother Arthur!"
Arthur was the idol of all the young mages at the Academy, including Lucia. His extraordinary talent and incredible powers had made her fall for him.
And, of course, he was exceptionally handsome!
Though she had never met him in person, Lucia had seen numerous photos and images of him. Just thinking about it made her heart race.
When Sherlin heard Lucia's request, she snorted coldly and firmly rejected her.
"No, that's not possible! Today is the day I'm going on a date—ahem, I mean, meeting him after he spent a year on the battlefield fighting the dragon race. So, sorry, I can't grant it."
"Eh!? You're so cruel, Sherlin!" Lucia pouted, shaking her arm in protest. "Come on, just this once. I've never met Brother Arthur, and I really want to. Besides, I heard he doesn't have a girlfriend. How about you introduce me to him? I promise I'll treat him well!"
The more she spoke, the more excited her tone became, which only served to irritate Sherlin even more.
As Arthur's younger sister, who had grown up with him, Sherlin was not about to let her brother fall into the hands of any woman.
Furthermore, she had recently begun to realize that she might have special feelings for Arthur.
The fact that they weren't actually siblings brought her a sense of relief.
However, considering their positions as brother and sister, any love between them would be forbidden, which only deepened her frustration.
She pulled her hand away from Lucia and shook her head firmly.
"Introduce you to him? Humph! Lucia, I didn't expect you to have such intentions of getting close to me," Sherlin said, feigning disappointment.
Lucia was taken aback for a moment, a guilty feeling growing in her chest. But as she imagined a future with Arthur, the guilt quickly faded.
"So what if I have such intentions, Sherlin?" Lucia asked, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Isn't it a good thing? If I became Brother Arthur's girlfriend, we'd naturally grow closer, like family. That would benefit both of us, wouldn't it?"
Sherlin: "..."
She hadn't expected such a close friend to be so infatuated with her brother—and so shameless about it.
Straightening her clothes, Sherlin turned and walked toward the door, waving her hand dismissively.
"Unfortunately, that's not possible. Give up, because Brother Arthur will never like you," she said before stepping out of the dorm room.
As she watched Sherlin leave, Lucia puffed up her cheeks and crossed her arms over her huge chest.
"Humph! You'll see. I'll get Brother Arthur, and when that happens, you'll be calling me 'big sister.'"
The thought of Sherlin calling her "big sister" with respect and courtesy reignited Lucia's determination to win Arthur's heart.
