BEAST MANIA

BEAST MANIA

Mason stepped into Beast Mania Mode, and as soon as he opened his eyes, he realized something strange. The environment resembled the jungle from Suzan, but it was slightly different—denser, wilder, and filled with more obstacles like thick bushes and towering trees. Despite the chaos, everything still seemed oddly well-organized.

He took a deep breath and summoned his powers, getting ready for battle. Suddenly, an announcement echoed through the air—a robotic yet ominous voice addressing him:

"Hello, player! Welcome to Beast Mania. This level is classified as 'Hard' and contains the following challenges:

1 Ultra-Large Beast (Difficulty: Very Hard) – Possesses supernatural abilities and has strength 100x greater than a Large Beast.

10 Large Beasts (Difficulty: Hard) – Wield supernatural powers like fire, teleportation, and super speed, with strength 100x greater than a Big Beast.

25 Big Beasts (Difficulty: Normal) – Stronger than Small Beasts, with strength 100x greater than a human.

50 Small Beasts (Difficulty: Easy) – Though categorized as easy, they are still 100x stronger than a normal human.

Prepare yourself. The battle begins in 5 minutes!"

Mason carefully read the details and exhaled sharply.

"This is just Level 1, and it's already classified as 'Hard'? What kind of nightmare is this? If this is the starting difficulty, what will the higher levels be like? This game is beyond brutal."

Meanwhile, in Another Part of the Game

Nixx paced back and forth, his frustration evident. He turned toward Vega, his face clouded with concern.

"What the hell is going on, Vega? Do you have any idea where we are? And what about those five missing players? Did someone kill them? This whole place feels unreal! And Level 1? Are you kidding me?!"

Vega sighed, keeping his composure despite the uncertainty.

"I have no clue, Nixx. We all arrived here together, and just like you, I'm trying to figure things out. As for those five players… it's possible they were killed. That terrifying announcement earlier was a warning. We don't know who else is here or how this game works. But one thing is clear—we're trapped in a game where survival is the only option. We need to level up fast, and more importantly, we need to stay alert. Other players might try to kill us if they see us as threats."

Lyra, trying to lighten the mood, spoke up.

"Look, I get it. But we don't have to be scared. We have powers, don't we? That means we can fight back."

Zara nodded in agreement.

"She's right. Before we do anything, we should check our abilities properly."

Stel turned to Vega.

"So, should we?"

Vega took a deep breath and gave a firm nod.

"Alright. Open your cards and check your abilities."

Each of them pulled up their Player Status Cards, revealing their powers:

SJ16 [Zara] – Clone Maker: Can create up to 100 clones of herself, each with the same power as the original at maximum level.

SJ17 [Lyra] – Clay Controller: Can shape and control clay, but creations lack the power of real objects. Their durability depends on her level.

SJ18 [Stel] – Body Manipulator: Can alter his body's shape and size, expanding up to 3 meters at maximum level.

SJ19 [Nixx] – Illusionist: Can create illusions whose power and duration increase with his level.

SJ20 [Vega] – Dual Power Holder

1. Ninja Arasi – Gains the strength and skill of 500 trained ninjas and can wield their weapons effortlessly at max level.

2. Blasto Site – Can plant explosive bullets on objects, players, or beasts. The explosion triggers after 3 seconds, but its effectiveness depends on the opponent's strength.

Nixx stared at his card in awe.

"Damn, these powers are insane! But what about the others? Do they have abilities like ours, or are they even stronger?"

Vega folded his arms and looked at the group seriously.

"We'll find out soon enough. But first, we need to level up. Here's the plan—we split into teams of two. I'll go alone because I have two abilities and can handle myself better."

Lyra frowned. "Are you sure?"

Vega nodded. "Yes. The teams are: Nixx & Lyra, Stel & Zara. Avoid fighting anyone stronger than you—just run if necessary. Meet back here in 12 hours. Understood?"

"Understood!" They all responded in unison before heading off on their respective paths.

Back to Mason...

The game started, and Mason didn't waste time. He had already slain 25 Small Beasts and 10 Big Beasts, but the battle was far from over. He had yet to encounter a Large Beast, and the clock was ticking—only 30 minutes remained.

Suddenly, the ground trembled. A group of Large Beasts emerged from the shadows, their monstrous bodies towering over him. Flames flickered from one's mouth, another beast vanished and reappeared in a different location, while a third dashed at inhuman speed.

"This is it."

Mason clenched his sword. His entire body began glowing blue, his eyes shimmering with an eerie light. His teleportation ability activated instinctively, allowing him to dart across the battlefield, confusing the beasts.

His sword whistled through the air, slicing through flesh, but the beasts were relentless. Their counterattacks forced him to stay on the move. His muscles burned, his breathing grew heavier, and he realized something alarming—his energy was depleting fast.

And yet, he still had the Ultra-Large Beast left to face.

He wiped the sweat from his brow, gripping his sword tighter. "Damn it… what now?"

To be continued…
