CHAPTER 28: START OF THE JOURNEY(2)

Everyone in the room was astonished by the tale Ray had described and had disbelief expressed in their faces.

Lily: "Brother is telling the truth, you can come near the boat and see the fish, it will stay near the boat to protect it," She chipped in seeing the people in the room didn't believe Ray's words.

Ray stood up and welcomed them to their boat to check the facts.

Everyone stood up and followed Ray to the fishing pier, where they were captivated by the sight of the boat, which resembled a solitary purple star shining brightly in the sky.

While they were fascinated by the yacht, Ray commanded the fish to get out of the hiding place and appear before him.

Suddenly from under the boat a huge figure came to the surface and drenched all of them.

The fish then looked at them with its naughty eyes and started diving up and down the lake in joy as it celebrated the success of its prank.

Ray reprimanded the fish for insulting the guests by spraying water on them. After feeding the fish with a spirit pill, he instructed it to return under the boat and hide carefully.

He then invited the chief, Ryan, and the other older brothers aboard to show them the inside of the boat.

The still-shocked chief and others absentmindedly boarded the boat and were amazed by the luxury space it was divided for just two people to stay.

Although it was scarcely believable to witness the fish being tamed and made to pull the boat, they nevertheless congratulated him for taming the monstrous fish.

After spending for few minutes on the boat the chief and others said their goodbyes for today to Ray and Lily, and they went back to their house.

Ray informed them that they would be staying on the boat for the night and asked them not to arrange rooms for them.

They will come to their house in the morning and help them with the last packing and carrying of their items and send them off.

As the afternoon passed by, Ray disconnected from the clone and prepared food for him and Ruby and ate happily.

Evening Passed by and Ryan came to the boat once with hot drinks in his hand and left after giving them.

The Night was particularly peaceful with no wind and a clear sky with stars visible exceptionally clear.

Ray had a good night's sleep, woke early the next morning, and after freshening up, left the boat to go to the chief's house.

There the chief and his family woke up and dragged the luggage which were left after yesterday's packing to the ship.

Ray moved swiftly, reached them, and took the items into his hand to help them transport the items onto their boat.

There are nearly 10 Big boats parked on the opposite side of the pier where his boat is parked.

Each boat can house up to 30 to 40 members, all the villagers can be seen boarding the ships while some are still transporting their items back onto the boat.

After an hour all the villagers had boarded the ship, and the chief had made sure everyone had boarded and asked Ray to get his ship and line it up at the back of their ships.

Ray, having received the chief's order, hurriedly reached the pier at the opposite side and boarded his ship. He communicated with the fish at the bottom of the boat, fed it a spirit fruit, and instructed it to pull the ship slowly in the indicated direction.

The fish obediently swam in the direction of the chief's ship while slowly dragging Ray's ship.

In a minute Ray saw the ships lined up in two rows at the new pier and he obediently lined up his ship at the bottom row.

With the movement of the ship, Lily woke up and walked right to the deck and saw the ship moving and watched it line up with other ships.

Ray who saw her waking up asked to get her fresh up and wait for him in the captain's room.

He will be there in a few minutes with breakfast, and we can see the journey up from the captain's room while eating.

Lily obediently went inside to freshen up and Ray waited for the chief signal to start the boat.

After waiting for a few minutes, the chief checked for the last time and Signed for the boat at the front to start the journey.

Each boat maintained a specific distance from the other to avoid collisions, and they gradually began rowing forward.

Ray waited for the last ship to move, maintained an extra-long distance, and directed the fish to slowly pull the boat towards the other vessels.

The land receded as they moved forward and within a few minutes of the journey, All the boats slowly turned and entered a canal.

The canal could allow the passage of two large ships at any time and the chief at the front directed the ships to follow the canal at the end of the canal flows a large river.

The flow of the river was not rapid but slow and steady with fewer waves, the chief slowly asked the ships to enter the river and follow the leading ship.

After making sure all the ships had entered the river safely only then Ray asked the fish to direct the boat to slowly pull it into the river while he went into the captain's room to take control of the steering to avoid collision or capsizing of the boat.

As he entered the river passage the boats sped up a little and 3 days could be heard from the front boat.

Ray understood that it takes three days to reach Black Rock city from here and concentrated on controlling the boat.

As the river's current was sufficient for the ship to sail, he asked the fish to rest at the bottom of the vessel and assured her that he would call when needed.
