Ray took a few broken spirit stones and handed them to Lily, asking her to activate the robe function.

He then added the broken spirit stones to his robe. A transparent barrier appeared in front of him for a second and then vanished. This barrier will stay at a low-level consumption and activate when attacked, protecting its wearer.

After confirming the dresses were fine, they left the shop and started wandering around the market.

Soon they felt hungry and went into a nearby restaurant run by an individual cultivator chef. They ordered a few special dishes recommended by the waiter and ate them with relish.

As Ray neared the shop, he saw two guards in front of the shop who were guarding the shop and supplying a token to the customer who wanted to enter inside.

Ray took the token and observed it and found that the token just worked as an entry pass to the shop.

To enter the shop, they just need to channel their spirit energy. Once it creates a spirit imprint on their token, they will gain access to the shop, but the imprint will only last for a limited time.

He can stay in the shop for a limited time only, as staying too long will trigger the defense system and forcibly remove him as a precaution.

Ray found he could stay for an hour in the shop, which is more than enough time for anyone to shop and leave. If he lingered in the shop for an extended period, it would be normal for others to doubt his motives.

As entered the shop he was received by an attendant who took him into a private chamber and handed him a catalog that contained the list of all the items on it.

Ray took the catalog book and saw the shop had all kinds of items ranging from mortal martial exercises to immortal exercises which can be used up to level 9 of the Qi training period.

Then there are a variety of immortality seeds, herbs, and pills that can used by mortals and immortals.

The pills crafted by the village chief using alchemy were sold for the price of one broken spirit stone each.

Then the weapon and formation, puppets, and spirit beasts to tame.

Ray reached the end of the catalog and saw space bags with dimensions of 1m by 1m, priced at 100 broken spirit stones, which were the most available. Ray paused for a moment and asked the waiter how many 5m-by-5m pieces were available.

Ray then selected two space bags which were 4m-by-4m in dimensions and paid the amount by dumping a hundred low-grade-spirit stones on the table.

The waiter slowly collected them after counting them carefully and respectfully exited the room.

Ray and Lily started browsing the catalog to see if they fancied any items and to gain more knowledge by noting the prices.

While they were seriously browsing the catalog, the waiter who went outside came back carrying two bags which were black and white colored on a tray with a middle-aged man in tow.

The middle-aged man observed Ray for a moment, noticing his eyes on the space bag, he saw that the robes Ray was wearing were from Blue Shield's family clothes shop. They were this year's top-grade display pieces, designed by the Qi family in the city.

Then the middle-aged man came in front of Ray introduced himself as the shopkeeper of the shop and extended his hand to Ray.

Ray extended his hand while shaking the middle-aged man's hand and introduced himself as an individual cultivator who had come into the city just this morning.

Ray lied about his previous clothes and space storage bags being damaged during a monster attack in the wild. He came to the nearby city to buy some supplies and gear, so he wouldn't be embarrassed if he got attacked again. He explained why he was visiting the shop.

The shopkeeper didn't ask for more details and respectfully handed the space storage bag on the tray to Ray and Lily while introducing them as they were made from a space rat stomach pouch whose cultivation is as high as late qi training level after their natural death.

These pouches will condense in their stomach only after these rats die of natural death and then they are taken out and processed to make the bags.
