chapter 1:broken heart

As she poured the steaming hot coffee into the cups, Emily williams couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had been working at the small café for a few months now, and she had grown to love the simple, quiet life. The smell of freshly brewed coffee, the sound of gentle chatter, and the warmth of the sun streaming through the windows all combined to create a sense of peace and contentment that she had never known before.

But what the people around her didn't know was that Emily was not who she seemed. In reality, she was Emily Williams , the billionaire heiress to the Williams fortune. She had grown up with every luxury at her fingertips, but she had always felt suffocated by the expectations and responsibilities that came with her family's name.

She had been born into a life of opulence and excess, where every whim was catered to and every desire was fulfilled. But as she grew older, Emily began to feel like she was living in a gilded cage. She longed for freedom, for the ability to make her own choices and live her own life.

So, she had made the bold decision to leave it all behind and start a new life, free from the pressures of her family's legacy. She had married her first love, James.but she had also hid her identity from James

James family were still a regular family still try to make a name for them self.

As she handed the coffee to the waiting customers, Emily felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. She had never been happier, and she felt that she had made the right decision in leaving her old life behind.

As the morning rush subsided, Emily took a short break, stepping outside into the fresh air. She closed her eyes, feeling the warm sun on her face, and took a deep breath. She was finally living the life she wanted, and she was grateful for every moment of it.

The day went by smoothly, soon it was morning

Emily's eyes fluttered open, and she was greeted by the warm sunlight streaming through the windows. She stretched, feeling the softness of the bed beneath her. It was moments like these that she cherished, moments of peace and tranquility.

But as she swung her legs over the side of the bed, her foot knocked against something hard. She looked down to see a piece of paper on the floor. She picked it up, and her heart sank as she read the words scribbled on it.

"Meet me at the hotel at 5 pm. - J

Emily's mind racing, she felt a wave of nausea wash over her. Who was her husband, James, meeting at the hotel? And why was he being so secretive.

She tried to push the thoughts aside, telling herself she was being paranoid. But the seed of doubt had been planted, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.

As she got dressed and made her way to the café, Emily's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of James and his mysterious meeting. She went through the motions of her shift, but her heart wasn't in it.

It wasn't until her break that she had a chance to confront James. She pulled out her phone and dialed his number, her heart racing with anticipation.

"Hey, what's up?" James answered, his voice cheerful.

"Who are you meeting at the hotel?" Emily asked, her voice firm.

There was a pause on the other end of the line. "What are you talking about?" James asked, his tone innocent.

"Don't lie to me, James," Emily said, her voice rising. "I found the note. Who is she?"

James sighed. "Emily, it's not what you think. I can explain..."

But Emily didn't want to hear it. She felt a wave of anger and betrayal wash over her. "Don't bother," she spat. "I don't want to hear your lies."

And with that, she hung up the phone, feeling like her world was crumbling around her.

As she made her way back to the café, Emily felt like she was in a daze. She couldn't believe that James would betray her like this. She thought they had something real, something true.

But now, she wasn't so sure.

The rest of the day was a blur as Emily went through the motions of her shift. But her mind was elsewhere, consumed by thoughts of James and his infidelity.

It wasn't until she was closing up the café that Emily realized she had a decision to make. She could confront James, demand answers, and try to salvage their marriage. Or she could walk away, leave the past behind, and start anew.

But deep down she wanted to give James audience

To explain

So she locked the locked the cafe and headed home

On her way home she received a call from her dad

"Hey baby "her dads voice rang with excitement "hi dad " she replied a little bit distracted

Sensing she wasn't ok he had to ask her if she was fine , she immediately lied that she was ok just mood swings cause of her period,

She knows her dads personalty and she knows what he could do if he ever finds out what was going on,

He loves her so much that he doesn't joke with her ,

She was his only daughter and his princess

Ever since she lost her mom when she was six

Her father has never let a fly hurt her , it took a lot for her to convince her to live this part of life

"Are you sure my princess? " do you need anything? "He asked worriedly,

" no dad I'm fine " she replied immediately

" ok princess call me whenever you need me " he said

" alright dad" she said and hung up immediately

She walked home quietly

Her thoughts were wavering

She was confused, and heartbroken, why did he have to do that ?

What was his reason?

Why did he betray her ?

She got home , she couldn't do anything cause she was weak , so she waited for James to come back

Because she was going to confront him

Little did she know that , a lot more was about to happen.
