Emily
Even a hot shower doesn’t calm me down. I’ve known Serena less than two hours, and already she’s got me so squirrely I’m ready to scamper off into the garden.
There’s a knock on the door just as I’m slipping into a top, and despite knowing who it is, I hesitate before answering. Nothing could comfort me more than seeing my boys right now, but at the same time, they’re the last ones I want to see. Well, one of them anyway.
“Come in,” I call, not wanting to set their senses tingling by telling them to leave me alone.
The door swings open and Azriel saunters in first. I can’t look him in the face. Trouble is, there’s so much else about him to feast my eyes on I can’t make myself look away.
