The Pitiful Ken Kaneki

As Sasuke looked at the three options presented by the system, he found the third option to be quite ridiculous.

After spending the day with Rize, the date ended with her still not having eaten Sasuke. She was clearly trying to use various seductive words and tactics to completely trap him in her web.

As the date came to a close, Sasuke bid Rize goodbye.

"I had a great time today. I wonder how you feel, Sasuke-kun?"

"I had a great time too, being with such a beautiful girl," Sasuke said as he lightly scratched his cheek.

When Sasuke entered, their eyes met briefly. Kaneki immediately looked away, pretending not to have seen him.

Sasuke walked directly over to Kaneki, causing him to break out in a cold sweat, likely fearing that Sasuke had come to confront him.

"You're reading The Egg of the Black Goat by Sen Takatsuki, aren't you?"

"Sorry!" Kaneki blurted out in a panic, before realizing what Sasuke had said. "Ah? ... Ah! Yes, it's The Egg of the Black Goat by Sen Takatsuki…"

Kaneki's flustered reaction made Sasuke awkwardly smile.

"It's a coincidence. I'm a fan of Sen Takatsuki too," Sasuke said kindly.

Kaneki, sensing Sasuke's friendly demeanor, relaxed and began to feel at ease.

"Really?" Kaneki asked with excitement.

Although Sasuke was Rize's boyfriend, meeting someone who shared his love for Sen Takatsuki's work was still a happy coincidence for Kaneki.

After all, reading was his only true hobby.
