William's carriage was speeding towards London as he gave Justin more explanations:
-For several days now, men I hired have been scouring the London underworld for any clues that could lead to Aaron's murderer.
For my part, I tried to loosen a few tongues at the social events I attended, but without much success.
Justin leaned back into the seat, hoping to be a little less shaken by the bumps in the road:
-So how did you find the trail of this bastard?
William rubbed his hands and smiled:
-Easy! I just had to pay a few crooks so that they could find me someone with a certain prestige to get rid of a rather cumbersome baggage. It's common practice to use a guy from the London underworld to do the dirty work.
I won't hide from you that I received several replies with requests for meetings but only one of these letters bore a coat of arms and since we know that the killer is an aristocrat, I am certain that we have our man.
Justin thought for a moment before nodding:
-Indeed, it's very smart of you but how will we know if it's really him or not?
We must not be mistaken.
-Well, we'll use the hard way to interrogate him. It's always been very effective.
That's why I came to get Brennan at Hargrove Manor.
He's still a little more intimidating than you or me and I'm sure he would have taken extreme pleasure in making this dirty guy talk.
And if he's not our man, we don't have to feel sorry for him. After all, he's a murderer.
Justin then smiled frankly:
-I'm sure that between the two of us we'll get through this!
-We just have to go to this damn meeting and settle this matter once and for all.
They found themselves in a rather chic area of London where Justin stood out a little with his rather simple clothes.
Fortunately it was morning, there were still quite a few aristocrats walking the streets.
-We have an appointment at the Southampton Hotel with a certain Mr. Smith.
-He probably gave a fake name added Justin but we'll unmask him quickly.
We'll question him and if it turns out to be him, we'll put him out of harm's way before calling Brennan.
So they cautiously passed through the hotel doors, looking all around to see if they were being watched.
William knocked on the door of the room that had been indicated to him in the message he had received.
It opened in front of a middle-aged man dressed in a top-quality frock coat and excellently cut black trousers.
He stepped back a step to let them pass:
-I was expecting you, sir, but I didn't think there would be two of you.
Another man Justin hadn't noticed came out of an adjacent boudoir.
"Excuse my manners," Mr. Smith added, "but I've taken precautions too.
It would be a shame if anything happened to me, wouldn't it?"
In his haste, Justin hadn't taken any weapons with him. He hoped William hadn't made the same mistake.
Very comfortable, Mr. Smith invited them to sit down:
-Would you like some tea, gentlemen? It is not because we are going to plan a murder that we should not respect the elementary rules of decency.
Justin and William looked at each other with the same thought. This guy was completely crazy!
They nodded.
Justin stared at the big gunman who was three steps behind Smith. If he turned around or left the room, he would have the opportunity to jump on Smith and make him a hostage so that the other would put down his weapon.
He spied on the gunman who put down his rifle and ducked over to a small dresser to get some teacups.
This was his chance. He stood up suddenly and jumped on the so-called Mr. Smith.
Hearing him scream the other man turned around pointing his gun at them but it was too late.
Justin had Smith wrapped around him from behind and was holding him in front of William and himself.
"Put your gun down!" Smith yelled at his sidekick. "You're going to hurt me!"
-We got him! Justin exclaimed. Go quickly and get the other guy's gun.
William walked over to the other guy, took his gun and pointed it at him:
-Now my friend, you're going to sit down nicely on the ground and put your hands on your head while we go for a walk with your friend.
He slowly backed away, not taking his eyes off him.
-Justin, are you still holding him?
-Yes. It's good.
As soon as he was near the young man, he congratulated him:
-That was really well played! I couldn't have done better! and he hit him in the ribs with the butt of his rifle.
Justin yelled, releasing his hold as William pointed his gun at him while addressing the other two who weren't moving:
-Hurry up, you idiots! Find something to tie him up with!
He then smiled calmly at Justin,
"I was thinking of killing you immediately but it will be much more fun to torture you in front of my cousin and kill you both."
William? Was William Aaron's murderer? He couldn't believe it, but he was clearly aiming his gun at him.
When Justin realized what trap he had fallen into, an overwhelming fear invaded him.
Oh, not for him, but for Brennan, who believed in this man.
For now, tied up by Smith, he couldn't move.
Fortunately, Brennan hadn't told him that Aaron was alive otherwise he would have tried to kill him again.
Since he didn't know his true identity either, he had to try to lull his suspicions and believe him harmless.
His gaze became plaintive:
-Are you the one who killed Aaron?
William's face immediately changed and a fierce hatred was written on it:
-I would have liked to eliminate both of them at the same time but that would have seemed a little too suspicious. You understand, don't you?
So I got rid of the younger brother first but I didn't think it would be so hard to take out my cousin and it's all your fault.
Without you, Brennan would have been dead a long time ago. With all those bodyguards around him,
it was impossible for me to do as I pleased.
-Why do you want to kill them? They always welcomed you with open arms. They loved you like their brother!
William sneered maliciously,
"But I love them too. That's why I tried three years ago to eliminate Brennan gently but the idiot I hired to do the dirty work got into the wrong room.
So I had to part ways with her for good if you know what I mean."
After this failure, I preferred to bide my time so that everything would be forgotten.
In no case should anyone make the connection with me.
But it was only postponed.
Can you imagine the happiness I felt when my men came to tell me that Aaron was dead?
I was finally getting closer to my goal.
Yet can you believe it? I was sad.
He shrugged:
-I liked him, Aaron.
Justin stared at him, taken aback by what he had just heard. William was a real madman.
How would Brennan manage to escape him?
And what would become of him in the hands of these madmen?
Aaron woke up at first light. He glanced at the door between his room and Black's but quickly turned his head away, pouting.
Last night, he had asked James to put Black in the room next to his so he could sneak into his bed as soon as he went to bed.
Of course, he had kept the key so that the captain could not close on his side.
He walked back and forth for several minutes waiting for Black to finally lie down but he still heard him talking with his men.
He then put his ear to the communication door to find out what he was doing.
-Are you sure, Captain? Mr. Aaron is not going to be happy at all.
And then you are married so we don't see why...
-Shut up and obey!
Aaron frowned. It was the first time he had heard Black lose his cool like that.
Even when he had insulted him in front of his men, he had remained stoic. But what was going on?
He then heard a loud noise like something was being dragged on the ground and then everything went silent again.
His men were certainly gone.
When he finally heard her lie down, Aaron shuddered with anticipation. He was finally going to find himself in the hollow of her arms.
He impatiently turned the key to the door connecting their rooms and opened it.
Imagine his astonishment to see the entrance blocked by his great-grandmother's large wardrobe.
He stormed out of his room to open Black's door but it was locked.
Furious, he ran back into his room and slammed the door.
He couldn't possibly make a fuss. The servants might hear him.
He tried to push the cabinet with all his might but it wouldn't budge an inch.
He knew he wouldn't be able to move it as Black had two of his men help him:
-Black! Bastard! How dare you stop me from entering your room! We're married!
He knocked on the back of the wardrobe:
-Please! Open the door for me!
But Black turned a deaf ear.
Aaron was doing what he wanted and he had had enough.
He had spotted his little game right away when James had told him that he was in the room right next to Aaron's and that he had noticed the connecting door.
When he asked him for the key, James shrugged his shoulders:
"Mr. Aaron has it." He then used drastic measures and blocked the door with the help of his men.
This little impertinent boy wasn't going to do whatever he wanted with him!
He was going to get a divorce and Aaron was going to get used to it sooner or later.
Yet in the face of his pleas, he was already ready to give up.
He wanted to take him in his arms so much that he was sick. But he shouldn't.
That would give him false hope.
Why didn't he understand that he was a pirate? That now that he knew the truth about him, there would be no turning back? That he would have to lie for him his whole life and Black couldn't stand it.
Not to mention that Aaron was just as capable of risking his life for him.
He would never accept it! He loved him too much for that.
He didn't hear anything anymore. Aaron had finally given up. A certain unease followed his relief.
As soon as he was no longer in danger, he would go to sea for six months, that would allow him to forget him.
Suddenly, moans came from the next room. Had Aaron hurt himself? No! They sounded more like moans of pleasure. He clenched his fists furiously when he heard someone whisper:
-Hum...Black...yes...caress me...there...ahhh
This little demon was really ready for anything crazy!
Just imagining him caressing himself was already so hard that he couldn't help but release himself by gritting his teeth.
He was driving him crazy!
Aaron did it again several times during the night, building his excitement to its peak.
It started again. He whispered:
-Oh yes Black! Put your finger... here... lick my nipples... I can't take it anymore... ahhh I'm going to cum...
He didn't close his eyes all night, bewitched by Aaron's moans and pleas.
At regular intervals, he strained his ears to hear:
-oh yes, my darling! harder... give me everything... ahhh...
It's as if Aaron knew exactly when he was awake.
He ended his night as best he could, enjoying himself even more, unable to resist himself any longer.
The next morning, Aaron was exhausted but he didn't dwell on this failure. He had had a lot of fun imagining the face Black must have made when he heard it.
He had also taken it upon himself to moan loudly so that he would understand perfectly what he was missing by not joining him.
But he wasn't done yet! Black hadn't yet understood that he would never give up!
If he was captain of a pirate ship, he was going to show him who was the real master on board!
