Six Years Ago – A Dark Night
A storm raged in the dense forests of Gunj Pradesh. Thunder roared across the sky as rain lashed against the trees. Uttar was with his father, Raghav Upadhyay, training under the moonlight.
"Father, one day, I will surpass you!" Uttar declared with a determined grin.
Raghav chuckled. "I am waiting for that day, my son."
Raghav Upadhyay was a Maha Sadhak, a powerful cultivator who had unlocked profound abilities. Though not at the peak of the world, he was still a formidable force in Gunj Pradesh.
Their laughter echoed through the forest—until a chilling voice interrupted them.
"Are you sure… you will survive till then?"
A shadowy figure emerged from the
darkness. His presence sent a shiver down Uttar's spine. His father's eyes narrowed as he stepped protectively in front of him.
"Who are you?" Raghav demanded.
The mysterious figure smirked. "You will know… when you die."
Suddenly, ten more figures appeared, surrounding them. Their auras were powerful, filled with murderous intent.
One of them sneered, "As expected from the great Raghav Upadhyay."
Raghav's eyes burned with rage. "You cowards dare to ambush me?"
Summoning his strength, Raghav unleashed his Wind Element Technique – Classic Wind Blast!
This was a Middle-Star, High-Rank Technique, strong but not the most supreme. However, in the right hands, even a mid-level technique could become deadly.
A powerful windstorm erupted from Raghav's attack, sending the ten assailants flying, leaving them injured.
But the mysterious figure was prepared. He pulled out a Formation Disc, chanting an ancient incantation.
"Ancient Absorption Formation!"
Raghav's expression changed to horror. "No… this technique—!!"
A surge of energy erupted from the disc, trapping him in a powerful sealing formation. He struggled, roaring in defiance, but the formation absorbed his power, sealing his fate.
Uttar screamed, "Father!!"
Raghav turned to his son, eyes filled with urgency. Without hesitation, he activated a teleportation talisman, sending Uttar away.
"Live… and become strong."
That was the last thing Uttar heard before he was teleported away.
But his nightmare was not over.
The Curse of the Golden Thunder
Uttar found himself outside the forest, but the mysterious figure had followed him.
"Your father is dead, boy," he taunted. "Now it's your turn."
Uttar's body trembled with rage and grief. "You're lying! My father is invincible!"
The man laughed cruelly. "Then let's test your belief."
He attacked, his blade slicing toward Uttar's throat—
BOOM
A seven-colored lightning bolt crashed down from the heavens, with a single streak of gold at its core.
The entire forest erupted into flames.
The mysterious figure stumbled back, eyes wide in shock. "What… kind of lightning is this?!"
Uttar screamed in agony as his body was engulfed in the golden thunder. Every fiber of his being burned. He felt his very soul being shattered.
Am I going to die…?
His consciousness faded, and everything turned black.
Days Later…
Uttar woke up in a medical ward, his body weak and covered in scars.
A doctor stood beside him, shaking his head. "Your father is gone… and worse, your cultivation is destroyed. You will never be able to cultivate again."
Uttar's heart shattered. His father was dead. His dreams were over.
As he sat up, his eyes fell on a mysterious golden ring on his right index finger.
"Where… did this come from?"
He tried to remove it, but it wouldn't budge.
Present Day
Even after six years, Uttar still couldn't remove the golden ring from his finger. No matter how hard he tried, it was stuck.
Just then, a voice echoed through the courtyard.
"Now, Shashwat Sir will give an update on the tournament."
Shashwat Sir was one of the most respected elders of the Upadhyay Clan, known for his fairness and kindness. He treated every student equally, regardless of their talent.
Shashwat Sir stepped forward, his voice carrying across the courtyard.
"Everyone, the Clan Tournament will begin in one month. Prepare yourselves."
The crowd erupted in excitement.
"YES! Finally!"
Uttar, however, remained silent. He turned away from the crowd and walked toward the forest.
"I will become powerful," he muttered to himself.
Sitting beneath a large tree, he closed his eyes and focused on his Muladhara Chakra, the foundation of cultivation.
For six years, his chakra had been silent.
But tonight… something felt different.
A Sudden Attack
As Uttar meditated in the forest, a sudden gust of wind sent chills down his spine. A shadow emerged from the trees.
Before he could react, a cold blade slashed across his shoulder.
"Ahh…!" Uttar groaned in pain, stumbling back. Blood seeped through his torn robes.
A man with a sinister grin stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with malice.
"Hahaha… I am a devil for you," he sneered. "And I will kill you."
With a dark smile, he plunged his sword straight into Uttar's chest.
Uttar screamed in agony. "AAAAHHH…!"
His vision blurred as unbearable pain flooded his body.
But then—something awoke within him.
A mysterious golden aura erupted from his body. The air trembled, and the trees swayed violently.
The attacker's smile vanished, replaced by terror.
"W-What is this power?!"
Before he could escape, golden flames engulfed him, turning him to ash in an instant.
Rebirth: The Power of Meditation
For six years, Uttar had been unable to cultivate, yet he had never stopped meditating.
Unbeknownst to him, every moment of meditation had been storing an enormous amount of energy within his body.
And now, like a raging storm, it exploded.
His entire body shattered into dust—leaving behind only his soul and the mysterious golden ring.
Then, something incredible happened.
The very forces of nature—the wind, the earth, the rivers, the trees—gathered around him.
A golden light enveloped his soul, reconstructing his body from the ashes.
Flesh and bones reformed, stronger than ever. His muscles pulsed with power. His skin glowed with divine energy.
The process took several hours.
When it was over, Uttar stood reborn.
He gazed at his hands, shocked. He felt stronger. Faster. Unstoppable.
"What happened to me?" Uttar murmured. "Am I… able to cultivate again?"
A surge of energy flowed through him.
He had broken through the Muladhara Chakra.
Then the Svadhishthana Chakra.
Then the Manipura Chakra.
In just one night, he had gained back what he had lost six years ago—and more.
His heart pounded as he looked at the golden ring on his finger.
"What… is this ring?"
It was no ordinary object. It was a mystery beyond his imagination.
Uttar clenched his fists, his eyes burning with newfound determination.
"I will never allow myself to be bullied again. I will prove my worth to the world. I will become the most powerful being in existence. And most importantly… I will avenge my father."
His voice trembled with emotion as he looked up at the sky, his heart filled with resolve.
"Father… your son can cultivate again. I swear, I will find those who took you from me and make them pay."
The journey begins...
