Darkness spread across the land, but the jewels of the sky shone eagerly, awaiting the next dream. It was as if the entire Milky Way had gathered to witness the dream, their tiny lights flickering with anticipation. The stars whispered among themselves, wishing their sister to shine over the dream breaker and get to him.
Steve went to bed early today as he wanted to know the rest of the dream that he didn't even remember. The little stars murmured excitedly, their soft glow illuminating the night. The Moon, their mother, began to narrate the dream:
Steve was a child, no older than seven, dressed in a cute outfit, playing in the park with his friend Dani. The two were building a sandcastle.
Dani, with a mischievous grin, declared, "Steve, I'll be the minister of this castle!"
Steve:" Minister…? Why not king or queen …?"
Dani:" My father said that ministers have more brains than kings and queens, queens are girls you fool. You can be the king."
Steve chuckled, patting the sandcastle into shape. "There, it's done. It kinda looks like a castle, right?"
Dani nodded. "It's perfect! Now go build a crown."
Steve paused, looking around. "But who will be the queen?"
Dani smirked. "We don't need a queen."
Just then, a girl with long black hair appeared, her presence almost otherworldly. She looked about their age.
Why am I a child? she thought, her mind racing. I'm supposed to kill her, not play games. Wait… it's him.
She stepped forward, her voice soft but firm. "Can I be the queen?"
Dani frowned. "Wait, what's your name?"
The girl hesitated, then replied, "I am Black Widow Pulsar from Sagitta."
Dani blinked, confused. "What…?"
The girl sighed. "It's Lilith Oniros. The other name was for the queen."
Dani crossed his arms. "I'll name the queen. I don't need someone else naming the queen of my king."
Lilith lowered her gaze. "Sorry."
Steve, ever the peacemaker, stepped in. "Don't be rude, Dani. Look, I made a crown out of grass and flowers. What do you think?"
Dani's eyes lit up. "That looks cool! Put it on your head."
Once Steve wore the crown, Dani grinned. "Now, let's play for real. I'll be the dragon, and I'll destroy the castle. You have to protect the queen and the castle!"
With a roar, Dani charged at them. "Aaaarrrr garrrrrr!"
Lilith, playing along, called out, "Defend the castle, my king!"
After a few minutes of playful chaos, Lilith stepped back. "I have to go. There are things I need to do."
Steve waved. "Okay, bye!"
Dani smirked. "The queen left the king. Now's my chance! Aaaarrrr garrrr!" He lunged at Steve, knocking him into the sandcastle and destroying it.
"Victory for the dragons!" Dani declared triumphantly.
Steve brushed the sand off his clothes, laughing. "You could've warned me before pushing me!"
Dani shrugged. "Dragons don't send warnings before they attack. When the war starts, it's on. That's the way of the dragon."
Steve grinned. "It's only because I was distracted saying goodbye to her."
Dani rolled his eyes. "She's a fake queen anyway. A real queen supports the king, not orders him around. And a queen needs a crown too. Most importantly, the king has to kiss the queen to make her a real one."
Steve blushed. "Where do you get these perverted ideas?"
Dani," is was in the tv I guess."
Steve shook his head, laughing. "Okay, okay. Let's head back, Dani. It's getting dark."
Dani's eyes widened. "Oh no! I promised my mom I'd be home before sunset. She's gonna kill me! Bye, Steve!"
Steve waved as Dani ran off. Alone now, he began walking home.
As he passed the edge of the park, he noticed a girl with short brown hair and blue eyes crying softly. She looked a bit younger than him, her tears glistening in the fading light.
Steve approached her gently. "Why are you crying?"
The girl sniffled. "My mother is missing."
Steve knelt beside her. "What's your name?"
"Vega," she whispered.
Steve, "That's a unique name."
Vega's lip trembled, and she began to cry again.
Steve," Don't cry I will help you find your mother."
Vega," Is that a promise ?"
Steve,"yes"
Vega nodded, wiping her tears. Together, they began searching the park.
Lilith appeared suddenly, her voice calm but urgent. "I saw her mother heading into the woods over there."
Steve frowned. "Are you sure? My mom says it's dangerous to go into those woods."
Lilith nodded. "I'm sure. Her mother might be in danger."
Hearing this, Vega's eyes filled with panic. Without a word, she bolted toward the woods, calling out for her mother.
Steve chased after her. "Vega, wait!"
Lilith thought, "Please die this time."
The woods grew darker with every step, the trees towering above them like silent giants. Unnatural sounds echoed through the shadows, sending shivers down Steve's spine. He tried to stay brave for Vega, who clung to the corner of his coat, her tears flowing like a fountain.
Steve handed her the crown he had made earlier. "Here, take this. Put it on."
Vega looked at him, confused. "A crown? Thank you."
Steve smiled weakly. "Now you're the king."
Vega shook her head. "I want to be the queen. Kings are for boys."
Steve thought for a moment. "Queens are like kings. In front of the king, the queen is treated like a king. king the head of the kingdom then the queen is the head of the king."
Vega's eyes widened. "So… I'm your queen?"
Steve nodded. "Yes. And queens are brave. So don't cry, okay?"
Suddenly, a loud bark shattered the silence. Vega gasped, clutching Steve's arm.
Steve whispered, "Quick, hide behind that tree."
But before they could move, a wild dog emerged from the shadows, its eyes gleaming. Steve grabbed a stick, trying to shield Vega, but the dog lunged, sinking its teeth into his arm.
Steve woke with a start, his heart pounding. "A dog bit me!" he muttered, rubbing his arm. a dog bit That was all he remembered.
Lilith, "that bitch is still not dead Next, I have to try to control the whole dream."
Meanwhile, among the stars, the little ones whispered anxiously.
"Mom, why does our sister not remember who she is?" one asked.
Moon:" She is not a normal dreambreaker she is one of the best a regular dreambreaker cannot do anything like this and if she is Black Widow Pulsar from Sagitta then she is more powerful than this, I hear she can control the whole dream and destroy the mind of the dreamers."
[For the nerds who need more detail: " There are different levels of dream breakers, and the one with a mind is the highest level. Black Widow Pulsar from Sagitta is at the top in terms of destruction. In this dream, the characters were kids, but adult themes occasionally seeped in, and the dream will self-destroy itself after Steve wakeup so Vega will not die by that wild dog"
For real:" The Black Widow Pulsar (PSR B1957+20), in the constellation Sagitta, is a millisecond pulsar—a highly magnetized, spinning neutron star. Its name comes from its destructive behaviour: like a black widow spider, it consumes its companion star with intense radiation, slowly eroding it. Discovered in 1988, this cosmic predator offers insights into extreme binary star dynamics and stellar evolution. "
Lilith Oniros combines Lilith, a dark, mythical figure of the night, with Oniros, derived from the Greek spirits of dreams. The name evokes a haunting, dream-weaving entity. ]
