The Echoes of Forgotten Dreams

Morning came, and Steve forgot everything. But Dani remembered it all.

Steve's mother rushed into his room. "Where's Magi?"

Steve frowned. "Who?"

His mother hesitated. "Nothing." Was it really a dream? But a star becoming human… that can only just be a dream.

On their way to the company, Dani asked, "Hey, is Magi alright?"

Steve shouted in anger, "Who the hell is this Magi? Today, my mom asked about her, and now you're bringing her up. And I've been having these realistic nightmares!"

Dani sighed. "I'm sorry. Just take some rest, okay? Forget about it."

Dani thought to himself, Where is this going? What happened to Magi?

Night fell, and the entire galaxy waited for Steve's dream. The sky was bright with stars, all gathered to witness what would happen next.

As they fell asleep, the dream began.

In Dani's room:

Lilith whispered, "You have to stay away from me. Even my existence may bring misfortune."

Dani asked, "Lilith, is this a dream?"

Lilith's eyes widened. "Damn it, this isn't a loose dream for you. That means Steve's dream must be a loose one."

Dani held her hands tightly. "I don't care. As long as I'm with you, nothing else matters."

Lilith's voice trembled. "Dani, you don't understand. I've caused so much pain. I don't want to hurt you too."

Dani's eyes softened. "You're not that person anymore, Lilith. You've changed. And I'll be here, no matter what."

Steve was walking through a street, and Magi was searching for him.

The little stars danced in joy. "Magi is alive! Magi is alive!"

The Moon smiled. "Perhaps it's because Steve returned to reality before Magi died, so the dream reset her. Either way, I'm happy for her."

A little star asked, "What about the baby?"

The Moon sighed. "The baby is gone."

It was night in the dream, with a huge moon glowing in the sky. Magi spotted Steve on an empty road, flanked by tall buildings and illuminated by orange streetlights. The bright blue moon loomed in the background.

Magi ran to him and hugged him tightly, but Steve seemed out of it.

Magi shook his face gently. "What happened to you?"

Steve grinned. "I ate some golden mushrooms. Now everything I touch turns to gold."

Magi sighed. "This is a dream, Steve. Come back to your senses."

Suddenly, celestial guards appeared out of nowhere, sliding on beams of light and charging toward them with spears.

Magi spotted a car, pushed Steve inside, and drove away from the guards. The city around them slowly transformed into a grassland, with sheep and villages visible on the sides.

Steve mumbled, "My home… my sheep… Mom…"

Magi glanced at him. "He's remembering things from his past life."

As they travelled, they saw glimpses of their past lives—the winter attack, Steve's tears as he watched his mother die, and his life as a slave. Slowly, Steve began to regain his senses.

Meanwhile, Dani's room transformed into Lilith's old village. They witnessed the moment when Lilith's father ordered her to bring the lamb.

Present-day Lilith grabbed her father's hand. "No, Father. Your way is wrong."

Her father snarled, "Get out of my way, you brat!" He threw her aside and tried to catch the lamb again.

Suddenly, they heard the sound of a car horn. Magi drove the car straight toward Lilith's father, shouting, "Die, you son of a bitch!"

hitting him and saving the lamp fary.

She opened the car door. "Get in, you two!"

Lilith hesitated. "Magi, I know you. I'm sorry."

Magi smiled. "Lilith, we're together now. Let's be good."

Lilith whispered, "Friends?"

Magi nodded. "Maybe."

Steve turned to Dani. "You two are together now?"

Dani sighed. "I'm sorry about the past life."

Lilith's voice trembled. "I'm sorry too. I know sorry doesn't fix anything. You must hate me."

Steve shook his head. "I don't hate you. Even when I was your slave, I knew you had a kind heart."

Magi added, "How about we forget the past?"

Dani suddenly shouted, "Who the hell are those guys following us?"

Magi and Lilith exchanged a glance. "Celestial guards," they said in unison.

Steve frowned. "Magi? Is she the Magi you're talking about?"

Dani sighed. "You won't remember her."

Lilith added, "There's an error in his bridge and the flow of information."

Steve clutched his head. "It hurts when I think about Magi. Who is she?"

Lilith noticed a black tiger sneaking behind them. "Slow down. I have something to do."

Magi glanced outside. "I see it."

Dani and Lilith jumped out of the car and ran toward the tiger.

Dani said, "This tiger is made of negative emotions. I can sense it."

Lilith replied, "I'm a dream breaker. I'm full of negative emotions."

Dani shook his head. "No, I don't think so."

Lilith's voice was firm. "We have to kill it."

Dani nodded. "Our last hunt. This time, I'll protect you."

They killed the tiger together, and as it vanished, they saw a vision of their past selves hugging and kissing. They did the same, holding each other tightly.

Back in the car, Magi's eyes were wet with tears. "Steve doesn't remember me." Her tears reflected the blue glow of the moon.

They passed through more scenes from their past lives, but even after seeing her descent, Steve couldn't remember Magi.

The car suddenly flew into the sky, soaring close to the moon. The celestial guards were left behind.

Lilith's eyes widened. "It's him. I can sense him. Zyron."

Dani asked, "Who is he?"

Lilith explained, "The one who sent me here. He gave me the star-killing weapon. That fireball approaching us is the weapon. If Magi or I touch it, we're done."

Dani's voice was urgent. "How can we stop it?"

Suddenly, Steve's mother appeared. "It's a loose dream for me."

Dani exclaimed, "Auntie!"

[One should have immense willpower and mental stability to control a dream where three persons, three celestial beings, and even a star-killing weapon are linked.]
