Steve's mother used her willpower to manipulate the dream, creating blue flames to block the weapon.
Steve shouted, "Mom! Why are you here?"
The weapon slowed down, but Steve's mother strained. "I can't hold it much longer."
Magi saw a hologram of their past—the princess and the slave boy kissing as she gave him her heart. He began to glow crimson.
Magi kissed Steve in midair, floating between the crimson weapon and the blue flames. They looked just like in the past. Slowly, Steve began to remember everything.
Steve's mother cried out, "I can't hold it any longer!"
Lilith tried to help with her remaining power, but the crimson fire consumed Steve and Magi.
A blue and crimson light glowed within the flames.
Dani shouted, "No! Steve! Magi!"
Lilith's voice was filled with regret. "This is my fault. I should've stopped Zyron."
The light grew stronger and brighter, engulfing Steve and Vega (Magi) in a radiant glow. They shone like stars, their combined light overwhelming the celestial weapon, reducing it to nothing but ash. The force of their positivity was so intense that Lilith, who was filled with negativity, collapsed to the ground, unable to withstand the purity of their light.
Dani rushed to her side, his voice trembling with desperation. "No, no! Don't leave me, Lilith! Please, stay with me!"
Lilith's breathing was shallow, her body weak, but her eyes softened as she looked at Dani. "I… I'm sorry, Dani. I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I just wanted… to be loved."
Dani held her tightly, tears streaming down his face. "You are loved, Lilith. By me. I don't care about your past. I love you for who you are now."
Just then, a small lamb—Fray—approached, nudging Lilith's hand with its head. It tugged at her clothes, trying to pull her up as if urging her to play. Lilith's lips curved into a faint smile, her hand trembling as she reached out to touch the lamb. "Fray… you came back to me."
A bright light enveloped them, and they all awoke. A golden glow lingered above Steve, and the light began to take the form of a girl. The girl who fell in his dream. Her face was down to the face she kissed him in mid-air.
And then fell on top of him.
Steve's mother rushed into the room,"You remember her, right?
Steve blinked, his mind still catching up to the reality before him. "Yes… she's my wife. I remember everything—every moment, every incident from the dream. We were married, but it's all a bit fuzzy now."
Magi smiled, her voice soft and filled with emotion. "It's fuzzy for me too, but I know this feeling. I know you. I just… I miss the details."
Steve reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "We can go through it all again. We'll relive every moment and enjoy it like it's the first time."
Magi chuckled, her eyes glistening with tears. "I've heard that from you before."
Steve grinned, his heart swelling with affection. "Yeah, it's all coming back to me, bit by bit."
His mother stepped closer, her voice warm and filled with pride. "I'm so happy for you, Steve. For both of you."
Meanwhile, Dani searched his house for Lilith, his heart pounding with worry. He couldn't find her anywhere. Desperate, he stepped outside, where he saw Fray, the lamb, standing in the yard, looking at him with those gentle, knowing eyes.
Dani's voice trembled as he approached the lamb. "Hey, Fray… do you know where Lilith is?"
Fray tugged at his clothes, pulling him toward the park. Dani followed, his heart racing. When they arrived, he saw her—Lilith—standing next to a sandcastle, her back to him.
Lilith turned, her eyes filled with a quiet longing. "I'm looking for my king. Can you be my king?"
Dani's breath hitched, and without a second thought, he ran to her, pulling her into his arms.
"yes, and you will be my queen" They kissed under the soft glow of the moon, the stars above twinkling with joy. The sky itself seemed to weep with happiness, the clouds raining down gentle tears of celebration.
In the centre of the Andromeda Galaxy, the emperor stood with his son, Zyron, watching the events unfold from afar.
The emperor raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing, son?"
Zyron smirked, his arms crossed. "Helping out some old friends."
The emperor sighed, shaking his head. "It's their luck they survived. If they hadn't blasted that beam of positive light, they all would've been destroyed."
Zyron's expression softened. "I had a feeling they'd figure it out. They're stronger than they look."
The emperor placed a hand on Zyron's shoulder. "Come on, your wife will get angry if you're late."
Zyron chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh, I forgot about her. I'm coming."
[For the Nerds:
The star-killing weapon had a hidden power—the ability to bring life and turn fantasy into reality. However, it came with conditions. The weapon was filled with negativity, and only overwhelming positivity could unlock its true potential. Lilith survived because she had found positivity within herself, thanks to Dani. Zyron, now married and a father had orchestrated much of this to make amends for his past mistakes. The Moon, too, played a role in guiding the events, ensuring that love and hope prevailed.]
The Moon watched from above, her light soft and serene. The little stars danced in the sky, their joy palpable.
One little star asked, "Mom, is this the end?"
The Moon smiled, her voice filled with warmth. "No, my child. This is just the beginning. Their story will continue, not just in dreams, but in reality. And we'll be here, watching over them, as we always have."
