Deep Sea King

"What's… happening to me?"

"I… I have no strength…"

"I feel dizzy…"

One by one, the Sea Race warriors started swaying like drunks. Then, black blood spewed from their mouths.

It was like watching dominoes fall, one warrior clutched his chest and collapsed, another grabbed his throat, then another, and another. Within seconds, the battlefield went from a chaotic brawl to a mass die-off.

The players, still panting from the fight, blinked in confusion.

"Uh… did we win?"

A moment of silence.

Then, Zrom crouched down, poked a fallen warrior, and checked for a pulse.

Nothing.

He stared at his army, realization dawning. His lips trembled.

"...Poison?!"

Indomitable Bear dusted off his weapon and smirked. "Wow, it took you that long to figure it out? I thought you guys were supposed to be elite warriors."

"You… You filthy humans!" Zrom's face twisted in rage.

"Hey, hey, let's not go throwing around insults. It's not our fault your species forgot about basic poison resistance."

"Yeah," the Evolutionary Player chimed in. "You guys are still technically amphibians, right? No protective skin layer? So the moment we cut you, the poison went straight in." He adjusted his glasses. "A very carefully selected poison, by the way. Shoutout to Brother Noodle for the top-tier toxin."

Indomitable Bear nodded. "Seriously, that plan worked even better than expected."

Zrom trembled. His hands clenched into fists. Then, with a furious roar, he lunged at Indomitable Bear.

"I'LL RIP YOU APART!"

"Yeah, no thanks."

Before Zrom could even get close, a calm voice echoed from the stone steps.

"You're doing well. I'm pleased."

The battlefield froze.

All eyes turned.

A figure in dark robes descended the stairs, the air around him carrying a strange pressure.

"Brother Ming!" Evolutionary Player shouted. "Be careful! This guy is really strong!"

Zrom's fury twisted into a sneer. "You're their leader?" He quickly gauged He Yiming's cultivation level and laughed. "Hah! Late-stage Spirit Vein Realm? You think you can stop me?!"

He lunged forward.

"Sky Thunder Technique."

A flick of He Yiming's wrist.

Lightning roared from the sky.

Golden bolts tore through Zrom's body.

Zrom's smirk froze. His body convulsed, glowing cracks spreading across his skin like shattered glass.

He barely had time to whisper, "Huh?"

Then,boom.

He exploded.

The battlefield went dead silent.

A few players just stared.

"…HOLD THE GRASS!" Evolutionary Player finally shouted.

"Brother Ming, WHAT WAS THAT?!"

Indomitable Bear, still kneeling from injuries, gawked. "I fought this guy for like ten minutes and barely scratched him! You just… zapped him!"

He Yiming, completely unfazed, looked around at the hundreds of dead Sea Race warriors. His brow furrowed.

"Wait… they're actually dead?"

He quickly checked his system interface.

Mission progress: Over 500 Sea Race kills.

His Luck Points? Over 1,200.

"Huh. That worked out better than expected," he muttered.

Before he could process it, a realization struck.

The system hadn't marked the mission as complete.

His expression darkened. "There's still more."

He tossed a healing pill to Indomitable Bear and sprinted toward the dam.

"Hahahaha! WE DID IT!"

The players cheered as they gathered at the dam, some already grilling skewers of War Hunchback Beast meat.

"This was so cool!"

"I was just chilling on the dam, stabbing fish left and right!"

"Best game ever."

"Hold on, hold on, someone get my cauldron! I see some fish and shrimp down there. Time for some spicy crayfish!"

The cook rolled up his sleeves, ready to make history.

Then, someone frowned.

"Hey… is it getting darker?"

Another player looked up. His eyes widened. His face turned pale.

"Uh… guys?"

A massive shadow loomed over them.

A huge figure. Seven meters tall. Green scales gleaming in the dim light.

One unfortunate player standing beneath it barely had time to say, "What the fu.."

THUMP.

A giant foot came down.

His health bar hit zero instantly.

Everyone froze.

The towering creature glared down at them, its eyes full of rage.

"YOU HUMANS…" its deep voice rumbled. "YOU DARE KILL MY WARRIORS?!"

Silence.

Then, someone whispered, voice trembling

"…Wait. Is that the Deep Sea King?"

Another player gasped. "HOLD THE GRASS. IT IS!"

Panic erupted.

"NO WAY, ARE WE FIGHTING THE DEEP SEA KING?!"

"WHERE'S SAITAMA?! WE NEED SAITAMA!!!"

"I just came out of Novice Village, why is there a dragon-level boss here?!"

"This game is poisonous!"

Ronal, the strongest Sea Race warrior, had arrived.
