Authors Note: This is HEAVILY inspired by BurgerNoTomatoes story called Promised (Reluctance) Victory In Remnant.
-Story Start-
In a white void, Corin appeared. He looked around for a moment before slamming his head on a table that randomly appeared repeatedly. "No... please don't tell me..."
Corin looked up and saw an old man looking at him weirdly. The man stoked his beard for a moment, "How would you like to reincar—"
Corin slammed his head into the table again.
"I worked too hard... trying to make my karma as even as possible..." Corin started to cry dramatically before looking up at the bearded man, "God, Being X, whatever you are, why me?"
"One of many gods, and we have a randomizer."
Corin slammed his head into the table again. "So I lost a gacha. Fuck my luck."
The god nodded.
Corin sighed, "can I- just like- say no?"
The god shook his head.
Corin almost slammed his head into the table but it was quickly replaced by a pillow before his head hit it.
Corin sighed once more, "And let me guess, I have to be a bullshit hero."
The god nodded once more.
"Fucking hell..." Corin rubbed the bridge of his nose. Corin looked at the god, "Please don't tell me I'm gonna have a bullshit system?"
The god nodded again. "The tragic hero system."
Corin looked at the pillow with the urge to smother himself with it, "Could I kill myself here?"
The god shook his head again. "Just so you know, I'd much rather give you a normal system, but I lost a bet with Loki... so I'm sorry to say but your going to have to be his... entertainment... for a while."
Corin looked at the god like he had just slapped a child.
The god scratched his cheek, "I managed to get a couple good things for you though! You like Cú Chulaine right? Well you'll have the abilities of every version of him!"
Corin gave the god a deadpan stare before sighing, "At least I'll have a way to fight in... whatever world I have to go into."
The god snapped his fingers, "Thanks for reminding me! Your going to the world of Remnant! Also known as RWBY!"
Corin started to fade away, and that's when the god realized.
"Oh shit I forgot not to snap my fingers..."
Corin slowly faded away with two thoughts in his brain.
'Why did it have to be me... and what's RWBY?'

Inside the bullhead en route to Beacon Academy, an atmosphere of mixed excitement and anxiety lingered in the air.
Teens chatted with each other, the youngest only 15 the others 17. Sleeping against a window a blue, long haired teen with a long braid suddenly woke up.
He gasped as he regained the memories of his last life. His red eyes looking around wildly before slowly calming down.
A girl with long blond hair looked at him weirdly for a moment before looking away, continuing to talk to black haired girl in red.
'Corin Lockheart, Huh. Guess I can think the god for giving me my original name, saves me the time of trying to memorize a new name...' Corin thought to himself as he repositioned himself to avoid his head being bashed in every few seconds like he was on a bus.
Let's see here, memories from the original body, orphaned at young age, aura, semblance, combat school, beacon academy.
At least he didn't have to worry about dealing with parents, or have to deal with growing up again.
'Also it's good that I'm the same age, don't want them to call me a pedo for dating someone.' Corin sighed before looking at you, 'what? Just because I'm getting the worst treatment ever doesn't mean I don't want to get into a relationship eventually.'
It didn't register to him that he had just broken the fourth wall.
A loud ping broke his stair as a blue scream appeared in front of him.

'I knew that already.' Corin deadpanned.

-Rune Magecraft- Hey it's technically your semblance, draw the symbols your knowledge of runes gives you and infuse your aura into them.

'Ah...' Corin sighed, rubbing his nose. 'Of course there's a bunch of cons...'
[You are supposed to be a tragic hero after all master.]
'Yeah, I know.' Corin thought, 'Could you explain the quests to me please?'
[Of course master, Main Quests are required, Side Quests aren't. In order to see more information about each quest click or think of the quest]
'Ok, Umm, I think I can guess all the main quests so could you open up the two side quests?' Corin thought to himself and the system.

-Puking Blond: Help Jaune Arc with his motion sickness!

Penalty For Failure: Nothing
Time Limit: 4 Minutes
-Red Ridding Hood Needs Help: Talk to Ruby Rose, that'll be enough to ease this kids heart.

Penalty For Failure: This innocent child will cry.

'I'm already stuck in this mess there's nothing much more I can do.'
Someone shook him lightly, when he came out of his thoughts the blonde girl that looked at him earlier was now looking down at him.
"Hey bluey, we're leaving the bullhead now." She smiled.
Corin nodded, standing up only to hear a clanging. He looked down and saw the Gáe Bulg sitting on the ground. 'Ah... I thought my lap felt heavy.'
He picked it up, instinctively putting it into the spear strap on his back.
"Thanks, and my name is Mario Mario." Corin slapped himself, this must of been his Mario Mario Curse...
The blonde girl smiled, "And my names Yang Xiao Long. Nice to meet you Mario Mario."
Corin could tell she was trying to hold back her laughter.
[Good news master, you can say your real name now.]
'Oh thank god.' Corin thought.
"I lied my name is Corin Lockheart." Corin sighed, "Not Mario Mario."
Yang nodded, "Well it's good to meet you and all Mario, but we need to get off this ship, my little sister is waiting for me."

Like I said in the beginning, this is heavily inspired by BurgerNoTomatoes (he's the goat you should read all his stories)
This is a mixture between comedy and a couple other things, but it will focus majorly on comedy for the first chunk.
A little notice here, the spear won't cause instant death unless it's stabbed directly into the heart. Which is why it's called spear of mortal pain and not spear of mortal death.
Anything that's locked will be revealed eventually, like way down the line eventually.
I've also decided to make the mcs a mixture of a bunch of the mahnwas I've read recently.

Anyways, unlike in BurgerNoTomatoes story Corin is not exactly a slave of the system and more like a slave to the gods. But that will be dived in much more later.
Not related to the story but Cu is overpowered. He's just always thrown into too huge of a pond.
