Chapter 36: The Unbreakable Pact

"Of course!" Sarah exclaimed, nodding firmly. She pointed at herself with a playful grin. 

"I thought of this during my recovery—combining what I experienced with that ancient legend!" she added. 

"I didn't care much before, and I never truly believed it," she admitted, her tone softening with nostalgia. 

"But this time, my body was healed by Ethan, and my life force was not only restored—it was enhanced!" Sarah continued, her excitement growing. 

"I noticed something remarkable," she explained in a hushed tone. "My damaged left eye began to warm under the influence of this renewed vitality and stronger physique." 

She paused, letting the significance of her words settle. "It's constantly recovering, even without Ethan's specially crafted eye-warming potion." 

"Even my blind right eye shows signs of revival, nourished by this enhanced strength," Sarah observed with wonder. 

She smiled broadly. "This proves that a strong, vital body greatly supports the Sharingan. If someone possesses both the Sharingan and a Sage Body, it might not only be easier to activate the eyes but also to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan." 

Her voice grew more confident. "And with a robust physique, as long as one avoids overusing the Sharingan, the Mangekyō can be restored with the help of that strong vitality." 

After a brief pause, she proposed, "Based on this evidence, I want to try uniting the three tribes through intermarriage. What do you think?" 

There was a moment of charged silence as everyone considered her words. 

The idea had its merits—and another reason lay behind it. Sarah continued, "I also want to test if we can awaken the Eternal Eye without fusing the Mangekyō of relatives. If that works, the future of the Uchiha will be elevated. It might even prevent others from seizing our eyes in their quest for the Eternal Eye." 

She added thoughtfully, "Could this be a way to break the curse of the Uchiha? Imagine, an end to the Eye-stealing Civil War." 

A murmur of agreement passed through the group. "It would be even more amazing if the Rinnegan could be born in the next generation through this method," Sarah noted, her eyes alight with hope. 

Of course, she understood the challenge. "Remember, Uchiha Madara awoke the Rinnegan because he was Indra's reincarnation and fused his essence with that of Senju Hashirama, the reincarnation of Ashura. An ordinary Sage Body and Eternal Eye might not be enough." 

She admitted, "Even Ethan is still unsure whether Indra's and Ashura's chakra is essential for awakening the Rinnegan as Madara did." 

Mito listened intently and then nodded with understanding. "Of course it is possible!" he affirmed with quiet conviction. 

He then raised a critical question: "After the marriage, what should we do if a child born from someone in the Senju or Uzumaki clan awakens the Sharingan? Should we send that child back to the Uchiha and have them bear the Uchiha name?" 

Sarah countered, "On the contrary—if Uchiha descendants awaken the Senju or Uzumaki Sage Body, do we really force them back into the Senju or Uzumaki clan?" 

Her words hung in the air, each sentence punctuating the gravity of the discussion. The proposal wasn't just a political maneuver—it was a bold plan to reshape the future, uniting our strengths while defying ancient curses and rivalries.

"How to solve this problem needs to be set in advance." 

It's a troublesome issue if not resolved before it arises. Without a proper plan, the Sharingan will cease to be the exclusive domain of the Uchiha. Likewise, unique inheritances such as the Sage Body, Adamantine Sealing Chains, and Kagura Heart Eye will no longer be confined to the Senju or Uzumaki clans. Blood inheritance matters, after all, are notoriously complex.

"The child belongs to the side where he was born!" 

Uchiha Sarah stated without hesitation, "I believe that the bonds between the three tribes will grow stronger. Hatred and estrangement will vanish, and true peace will finally prevail. What do you think?" 

"Yes! At that time, they will all be nothing more than cattle and horses under her son's command," came a confident retort. 

"Okay! Then it's settled!" 

Although Uzumaki Mito suspected that Uchiha Sarah might harbor other plans, she knew deep down that neither the Senju nor the Uzumaki could afford to lose. Moreover, the rescue of the Uzumaki clan absolutely required the might of the Uchiha. With that in mind, she nodded in agreement.

"However, marriage cannot be forced," Uchiha Sarah added thoughtfully.

"Instead, we can arrange regular blind dates among the three tribes," she continued. "That way, the younger generation can choose their partners on their own. As long as the numbers marrying out and marrying in remain balanced, it should work perfectly. How about it?" 

Uzumaki Mito smiled and smoothed over the details. "Okay!" came the prompt reply from Uchiha Sarah. 

Uchiha Sarah naturally saw no reason to disagree. She worried, however, that too many Uchiha women might end up marrying outside the clan—after all, the Uchiha are renowned for their abundance of handsome men and beautiful women.

"When you are sure you want to rescue, just notify me in advance! I'll send someone to help with the extraction!" 

Uchiha Sarah promised confidently, "Okay!" 

Uzumaki Mito nodded, breathing a deep sigh of relief. Now that this matter was confirmed, she felt a weight lift from her shoulders. 

With the intervention of the Uchiha, along with the combined strength of the Senju and even the power of the whirlpool itself, they could repel a coordinated attack from the four major ninja villages and safely escort the Whirlpool clan to settle in Konoha. After all, these villages would never dare to deploy a full-scale force into the land of whirlpools—at best, they'd send a few elite raiding squads.

Later, Uzumaki Mito and Uchiha Sarah continued their conversation. Tsunade also pulled Ethan aside so they could exchange further medical knowledge and experiences. 

At noon, Uzumaki Mito treated Ethan and the others to a hearty lunch. After the meal, both sides bid their farewells and departed. 

Soon after, word of the meeting spread among the Third Generation, and they hurried to Uzumaki Mito's home. As for Danzo and his entourage, they dared not come forward, fearing punishment.

Upon their arrival, Sarutobi Hiruzen immediately sensed that Uzumaki Mito's vitality—once on a downward spiral—had more than doubled. At this rate, she could enjoy many more years of life.

Despite an undercurrent of unease, the Third Generation respectfully and curiously asked, 

"Lord Mito, how did your talks go? Will there be any trouble with the Uchiha?" 

They pressed further, "Your vitality seems remarkably restored—was it the work of Uchiha Sarah?" 

"Not bad!" Uzumaki Mito replied with a nod. "I reached an agreement with Uchiha Sarah. They helped me regain some of my lost vitality, enough to add a few more years to my life." 

She continued, "In exchange, they requested the Flying Thunder God Technique, Tobirama's Water Style Ninjutsu, and several low-level sealing techniques." 

"And finally," she added, "one of the terms was for Uchiha Ethan—the son of Sarah—to become Tsunade's apprentice." 

These conditions were laid out openly, with no attempt at concealment. Any objections from the Third Generation were quickly suppressed.

"What?" Sarutobi Hiruzen's face darkened as he reacted, "Did she really offer me the Flying Thunder God Technique, the master-level Water Style Ninjutsu, and even the Sealing Technique?" 

He continued in disbelief, "She's even insisting that her son become Tsunade's apprentice! What exactly is she trying to do? Is she still aiming for the Hokage position? And I recall her son struggled to become a ninja because of his congenital deficiency!" 

Sarutobi Hiruzen felt increasingly out of control, an unsettling feeling that set his nerves on edge.

"She has fully recovered!" came a bold declaration. 

Uzumaki Mito shook her head firmly, "If even the serious issue of Uchiha Sarah has been completely healed, why should we assume that Uchiha Ethan's condition can't be restored?" 

Sarutobi Hiruzen frowned, "So, has Uchiha Sarah truly recovered completely?" 

"That's right!" came the confirmation. 

Uzumaki Mito nodded emphatically, "Not only has her body recovered, but her remaining Sharingan is now fully restored!" 

She warned, "So, do not provoke her. At this moment, I might not even stand a chance against her." 

Of course, that might not be entirely true. In reality, she was by no means inferior to Uchiha Sarah with her vitality fully renewed. Yet, what she showed the world was only a portion of her true power—she could not reveal the full truth.
