On the eighth floor of Hogwarts, the Headmaster's Office sits at the end of a spiral staircase. A gleaming oak door, adorned with a brass knocker shaped like a griffin, guards its entrance.
As for what lies inside, Noah had never been in there, so he wasn't entirely sure.
Also on the eighth floor was Professor Flitwick's office, located at the thirteenth window on the right side of the West Tower.
At the top of the West Tower was the Owlery, the roosting place for the school's owls. It was said that Hogwarts had spent a significant amount of money constructing it.
Nearby was the Gryffindor common room, hidden behind the portrait of the Fat Lady. It was said to be a warm, circular room filled with plush armchairs, where Gryffindor students could relax and work on their homework. It also led to Gryffindor Tower.
Noah and his friends followed a group of Gryffindor students up the stairs. While the Gryffindor students found it odd that four Ravenclaws were wandering into their part of the castle, they didn't question it too much—perhaps assuming they were on their way to visit Professor Flitwick.
Hermione and Harry both considered approaching them to ask if they needed help, but after seeing Noah's group moving with purpose and not looking to socialize, they held back—though Hermione, in particular, was burning with curiosity. She desperately wanted to know how Noah had mastered the Levitation Charm so quickly.
As soon as they moved out of sight from the Gryffindor students, Evan finally spoke up.
"Noah, why are we here? Are we looking for Professor Dumbledore or Professor Flitwick?"
He was uneasy about lingering so close to another House's common room. It was never a good idea to wander too close without reason—especially since Professor Flitwick's office was nearby.
Neither of those options," Noah said calmly. "Don't worry, you'll find out soon. But before we go any further, you all have to promise me—you must keep this a secret, alright?"
"A secret?" Lance smirked, raising an eyebrow.
"No, not my secret. A Hogwarts secret," Noah corrected. "I just happened to stumble across it by accident."
"A Hogwarts secret?" Evan, Kenn, and Lance exchanged glances, silently debating. Finally, Kenn stepped forward and nodded.
"We get it. Don't worry. This will stay between the four of us."
Hogwarts had countless secrets hidden within its walls—even Professor Dumbledore probably hadn't uncovered them all.
The fact that Noah had discovered one of them was incredible. And the fact that he was willing to share it with them meant a lot.
Noah wasn't paying attention to their thoughts—he was too busy recalling everything he knew about the Room of Requirement.
That's right—this was what he had been searching for. The perfect place to practice magic, to plan for the future, and to explain his rapid progress.
The Room of Requirement was truly extraordinary. Its very name explained its purpose: a room that appeared only when someone needed it.
It didn't have a fixed form. Instead, it transformed based on the seeker's desires.
It was usually located on the eighth floor, opposite a tapestry depicting Barnabas the Barmy attempting to teach trolls ballet.
Many stories were tied to this room. Decades ago, Tom Riddle—later known as Lord Voldemort—hid Ravenclaw's Diadem, one of his Horcruxes, within it.
Years later, Harry Potter and Dumbledore's Army used it as a secret training ground.
It had also served as a storage room, holding countless forgotten objects. Draco Malfoy even used it to repair the Vanishing Cabinet, which ultimately allowed Death Eaters to infiltrate Hogwarts.
And during the Battle of Hogwarts, it became a refuge for students resisting the Carrows and Voldemort's forces.
Unfortunately, it was later destroyed by Vincent Crabbe's reckless use of Fiendfyre.
Still, while it lasted, it was one of the most valuable hidden places in Hogwarts.
And Noah knew that if he could control access to it, it would become even more useful in his hands than it had been for Harry Potter.
Because Noah wasn't just thinking about Hogwarts.
He wasn't afraid of Voldemort—at least, not in the way most people were. The Dark Lord was terrifying, yes, but if Noah couldn't even deal with threats like him, then his future was doomed anyway.
He needed a place to train. A place to plan. A place where he could build something bigger than himself.
"Noah, what are you looking for? You haven't gotten lost, have you?"
After circling the corridor for the third time, Lance was getting impatient.
He felt ridiculous, walking in circles like this. He trusted Noah, but if they kept this up much longer, he was going to start questioning things.
"Don't worry, it should be here," Noah reassured them. "I used to get lost looking for it before, and I couldn't leave any obvious markings—otherwise, someone might have noticed. But I'm sure it's nearby."
Noah was slightly embarrassed. The Room of Requirement had one frustrating condition—it would only appear when someone was truly in need of it.
To enter, he had to focus on what he needed, walk back and forth past the location three times, and wish for it to appear.
So, here they were, marching in circles like fools.
Fortunately, on the third pass, Noah felt it.
He turned—and there it was.
A door.
A door that hadn't been there a moment ago.
Noah let out a relieved breath. Finally!
For a moment, he had worried that he might have misremembered the method. He had even prepared a backup excuse in case he failed. But thankfully, that wasn't necessary.
"Guys, over here! I think we've found it!" Noah waved them over excitedly.
Evan, Lance, and Kenn were skeptical. They had walked past this exact spot three times, and there had been nothing.
But now, there was a door.
They exchanged wary glances before following Noah toward it.
And the moment they stepped inside, they lost their composure completely.
Inside was a hidden chamber, lined with shelves of books, spell practice dummies, and magical artifacts.
A perfect training ground.
Evan's jaw dropped. "What... what is this place?"
Lance was staring in disbelief. "This was here the whole time?"
Kenn looked like he had just witnessed a miracle.
Noah simply smiled.
Welcome to the Room of Requirement.
