In the following days, Noah and Harry both felt extremely annoyed.
To be honest, they were feeling exhausted!
Harry often looked at Noah with a face full of resentment, making Noah feel extremely awkward.
But there was nothing he could do.
Harry was a qualified little wizard now, and he also had a lot of respect for Ms. Haifin. He couldn't outright reject her.
In truth, Ms. Haifin didn't really possess much magical talent.
Although everyone in this world had magic in their body, it was ultimately the strength and quality of that magic that determined whether a person could become a wizard.
She hadn't received a letter from Hogwarts when she was young, which proved that she didn't have what it took to become a witch.
Of course, this wasn't an absolute.
At least, Noah didn't believe so.
And the method was actually very simple.
The most basic and easiest approach was to let Ms. Haifin practice the same meditation technique that Noah used now.
Meditation was a method to strengthen one's mental power and magical power. The more advanced the meditation technique, the more power it could draw in from the outside world.
Theoretically, if the meditation technique was powerful enough, it didn't matter whether one had magical talent or not—they could still become a wizard through hard work.
Of course, whether they could reach great heights would depend on other factors.
But even if Noah did possess such an advanced meditation method, he wouldn't casually give it away.
Even the current basic meditation he was using was not something he could freely share.
He had received this knowledge from his system.
Even now, nearly two years later, the system had only given him one task—it had stayed dormant for the most part and ignored him.
Sometimes, even if he tried to provoke or seek it out, it would remain unresponsive.
And the few times it did respond, it brought unpredictable consequences.
So this option was not practical for now.
"So... for now, I guess we'll have to let Ms. Haifin follow the most traditional method."
That meant: let her learn the basic Hogwarts curriculum, and through constant depletion of magic and spiritual energy, slowly increase her reserves and sensitivity to magic.
It was slow, inefficient, and very tiring.
Noah had hoped she'd give up early on.
But surprisingly, Ms. Haifin's willpower far exceeded his expectations.
After Noah explained how long it would take, and how painful it might be to see little to no progress for years, she still agreed without hesitation.
"Don't worry, Noah. Once I decide to do something, I will stick with it—no matter what. Whether it was taking care of my family or running this orphanage, I never turned back. I'll work hard!"
Her firm tone left Noah speechless.
Truth be told, this method wasn't well known even among wizards. Few knew that this kind of training could help one increase magic gradually.
But Noah had experimented and figured it out after many tests, and with the help of the knowledge in his system's library, he had learned hundreds of spells.
Now, the question was what spell to choose for Ms. Haifin.
It needed to be basic and easy to master. That way, she could continue practicing without being overwhelmed.
After some thought, Noah picked a very beginner-friendly spell.
"Ms. Haifin, actually... everyone has magic in their bodies. But only those with strong enough magic can become wizards. When I was at Hogwarts, I discovered a method that could gradually improve magical power. I can teach it to you, but you must promise never to reveal it to anyone else."
"Of course! Do you want me to sign a contract or swear an oath?"
"Wait—how do you even know about magical oaths?"
"Isn't that a thing in fantasy novels?"
Noah massaged his forehead in disbelief.
What's with this woman? She knows even about magical contracts? Were those fantasy authors actually wizards themselves? Or did they accidentally witness real magic?
Forget it—it doesn't matter.
Noah made Ms. Haifin swear a magical oath in Merlin's name using her own magic as a guide.
This oath wasn't dangerous, but it had binding power.
As the oath took effect, Ms. Haifin suddenly felt something strange happen inside her.
"That felt… weird."
"Don't worry, that's just the magical oath taking effect. Also, you should start learning about the wizarding world now. Mentally prepare yourself too—but no need to panic."
"Prepare myself for what?"
"You might start seeing things like ghosts in the future. That's just the beginning. You'll get used to it over time."
Ms. Haifin narrowed her eyes at him. She suspected Noah was trying to scare her, but she didn't say anything.
Instead, she secretly made up her mind—she was going to prove him wrong!
And so, the days that followed became filled with lessons.
Noah, Harry, and even Hermione—who had come to visit—were all roped in to help teach.
To be honest, if you've never taught anyone before, you really wouldn't understand how exhausting it is—especially when you're teaching someone who has zero foundation in the subject.
Ms. Haifin wasn't dumb at all.
She was highly educated and intelligent.
But magic was a completely different system from science.
And adapting to this new worldview was not something that could be done overnight.
"Noah, why are we even doing this?" Hermione complained as they left after a long day.
"Alright, alright—I get it. I was probably being too optimistic."
Noah raised his hands in surrender. But then he added:
"But really, Hermione, she's like a sister to me. Wizards can live really long lives, and this is just an experiment. If it succeeds..."
Hermione looked at him, eyes wide.
"You mean...?"
"Yeah. Your parents are Muggles too, right?"
"So if this method works…"
"Exactly. It could help other Muggle-borns. Even Squibs."
"Alright, I get it now. I'll keep helping her when I can!"
Noah's heart swelled with gratitude. He watched her leave, a proud grin on his face.
Harry buried his face in his hands beside him.
In their first year, Hermione had had conflicts with Ron and the others.
They didn't become true friends again until second year when they joined the Wizarding Alliance.
And now, Noah had pulled her into another one of his grand schemes.
"Noah, seriously. That smug smile makes you look like a fox who just raided a henhouse."
"Is that so? Looks like I need to control myself better."
"There was no need for all that emotional persuasion. Hermione's always been someone who helps others. Even without that stuff, she'd still agree."
"I know. But I really do want this to work. If it does, Squibs won't have to feel helpless anymore."
Noah gently patted Harry on the shoulder.
He truly wished for Ms. Haifin to have a long and wonderful life.
As for Squibs in the future Wizarding Alliance… well, that was a bonus.
Harry remained silent.
He'd lost his parents too early, and growing up with the Dursleys had left a hole in his heart.
But meeting Ms. Haifin made him feel a warmth he hadn't experienced in years.
A kindness and gentleness that was rare.
After spending a week at the orphanage, Harry felt deeply envious of Noah.
Sometimes he wondered—if I'd grown up here instead, how different would things have been?
But then he'd remember the children who got adopted and the bittersweet smile Ms. Haifin gave them as they left.
If it were him, would he have left too?
No, Harry thought. Better to focus on what's in front of me.
Time passed quickly.
Before long, it was time for the Hogwarts Express to depart.
Ms. Haifin had trained all break long. Even Harry felt a little guilty seeing how hard she worked.
She and Hermione got along surprisingly well—perhaps because they were both women, or because they were both extremely studious.
Even more surprising was Hermione's promise to keep coming back during weekends to help teach.
During this period, Ms. Haifin had come to understand the wizarding world.
Learning about magic's wonders—like how it could enhance beauty or slow aging—made her realize just how valuable Noah's training method really was.
She silently vowed never to tell a soul. Not even a whisper.
"Be careful, all of you," she said, standing on the platform with a gentle smile.
"Don't worry. We'll be fine," the kids nodded.
"Study hard. Stay safe."
"No problem! We're all super tough!"
